My brother was there on a holiday in the middle of winter of about 1986. The pictures he took looked a lot like the winters here at Alberta, Canada. I have always wanted to go and check it out myself but have only made it to Europe so far. Maybe one day.
It's a European city by architecture in the center, but with it's own vibe. Never know what will be tomorrow; now flights etc are an issue, but maybe in a couple of years everything will relatively calm down. We'll see. I can only say it's not scary in Spb, relatively calm, we don't bite))), and when I was in Europe last couple of times, it seemed to me that there were more crime there than in Spb.
My father has been to St Peterborough he lived there for a while in the 60s, I myself have never been but he said it was a great time!😁, the apartments definitely have plenty of historical character!, thanks for sharing, takecare!😊💜✌️🏴
It's good to see you again. When you say per night....it seems like Hotel that you have to pay per day. It's very nice to see and very interesting. Thank you.
What an interesting tour. Thank you. That's proper history and proper SPB. The apartment looks a little bit Soviet / Imperial Russia style. It's not modern, but given the location it feels just about right. Chandelier was in the spirit of SPB décor. Best from London.
Thanks, Jay😘Glad to see you on my channel again. Yes, everything was just in style: 19th century houses around, and the whole decor of the apartment, loved that.
@@JayTulip I know that I'm a bad blogger, but didn't film anything; hopefully next time. Got into embrace of friends, bars, Petergof, absolutely relaxed. As far as shawarma is concerned--I asked my husband. He is from St P in five generations, was born there, and lived his first 24 years there. He said that it's because it's tasty, cheap, and you get saturated very fast --our tastier analogue of Mc Donald's.😄
Hello, Willem🙂Yes, honestly I think it's not expensive And now it's even cheaper for the foreigners (I don't know for how long lol) Last year it used to be 150 roubles for a dollar in March, then 55 roubles for a dollar in summer, now again it's about 100 roubles for a dollar🙃Soon I'm going to make a little video about nice studio apartment that my family bought not long ago--it is quite cheap in dollars now, the price may be quite different in a while with the currency rate. it's insane.😂
You are still amazing with your movies . . very interesting. . .
