Perhaps ACC is the best RACING VR game, but overall I rate GT7 for the car modelling, the interiors in particular. And then there's the lighting quality. Just gorgeous.
@@KirethI bought the mid-fifties Aston-Martin Le Mans racer today. My God, it's beautiful in VR. The view from the drivers seat over the long bonnet is breathtaking. The instrument panel, just wow.
Yea GT7 is such a grate game and performs extremely well in PSVR2. With the recent announcement by Sony for the PS5 Pro, I am hoping to purchase the PS5 Pro and hope GT7 gets graphical enhancements to its PSVR2 experience.
I will try ACC in VR, but you have to try F1 24 again. Its actually great in VR, you have your settings wrong. Check video mode and change SS mode to TAA & Fidelity FX sharpening.
I never understood the gripes about ACC in VR, I personally love it. The only thing I can't seem to be able to do is get rid of the driver position list on my left side. No matter what I disable, it's still there.
@@graemacinnis1202 i agree with you, ACC in VR is pinsharp for me on the PC with the original Pimax Crystal but it took a bit of tweaking in settings. 100 million time better than my ps5 with the psvr2 in GT7, i really can’t believe people thinks GT7 looks good in VR. it looks like 240p everywhere except for the steering wheel!
I actually want to play it the most ...... But it can't reach max visual settings in VR ... That's why... If that game ran in VR in Max settings..... The other games wouldn't be able to touch it...... I feel I racing and couple others have better gameplay..car control...... But ACC has the best feel. It feels like GT Sport. Which was great online
To get better performance and crystal clear image , even better than on monitor you have to use open XR / primax xr , and cas instead of dlss. Im running it on 4090 and 5800x3d and getting 110-120 fps on primax crystal light 75 % resolution scale. For online racing i will recomend 90hz and than you have no frame drops and around 20 % headroom
ACC is one of the worst games when it comes to VR. Everything is bad there. Shadows, textures, no sense of speed. The Unreal engine is the worst engine in VR, at least in sim racing. The best VR experience when it comes to sim racing for me is still RF2 in rainy conditions. IR is slightly behind Rf2, also in rainy conditions. And the AI opponents in ACC are the most underdeveloped element of this game. If we compare it to Sophie's AI from GT7, it is simply very weak in ACC.
@@Kireth No, even the 5090 won't help here, it's smoother than in other Unreal engine games, but it's still one of the worst experiences in VR. I have 4080/Ryzen 7950x3d / 64 GB 6000 Mhz, this configuration does not help with ACC. There is still no sense of speed compared to IR or Rf2, or even RRRE after the update. I'm using PSVR2, where the ACC looks much better than on the LCD panels from the HP G2, but it's still not a good VR experience.
@@alcrack3996, yes, AMS2 is one of the best optimized games for VR. However, the level of RF2 or IR - in rainy conditions - is a bit lacking. In AMS2, rain behaves strangely, it falls in such blocks and it looks bad. Rain aside, AMS2 is a brilliant VR experience, especially at sunset.
I have a 4090 and pimax crystal (not light), looks great to me even at distance must be dynamic foviated rendering or be the way i set it up. But having said that, I still prefer my 4K multi monitor setup, less mucking around. I know a lot of people loves vr in gt7, i went and got it on ps5 and the vr visual quality was so blurry and FFB wasn't great either, a real shame.
I play iRacing and AMS2 wearing the Crystal Light and is stunning! But I heard that the ACC has some compability issue in VR? But the video looks like not bad! Maybe I should try it in my headset later! Thank you Kireth!
just because of the guy talking to u in the background it is already better than gt7 is in vr. not to mention the more stable cars on the road which helps in close racing and ofc more forgiving penalty system than it is in gt7
For me even with my pretty low end set up, I enjoyed ACC in VR and spent wayyy more hours in it than AMS2 despite AMS2 being the absolute best to run in VR. However I spent days tweaking the game to look good and perform good in my 2060 and Quest 2. Once AMS2 1.6 drops and LFm compatibility arrives I’m sure I’ll rack up some hours there before ACEvo 😅
Every few months a video comes out saying that ACC in VR is great. So I go and boot it up and yup it still sucks. And I have a 4090. Best Sim Racing vr experience hands down is still AMS2.
Thanks for the video. have over 300 hrs in acc, all before VR. As long as kunos uses unreal engine, vr will be disastrous. I tried reverb g2, varjo aero, varjo xr4, with 3090 and now 4090, nothing saved this game. I even supersampled acc to as much as possible to see what a 5090 could deliver graphically whole keeping hugher frane rates, and it's still a mess. Rennsport, uses ue5, and also uses quad view foveated rendering and therefore allows 😊very high resolution. It suffers from the same UE typical issues but allows 55ppd while keeping felatively high fps. Still lots of optimization to be done. Iracing has the best anti aliasing out of all sims and if one sticks inly to new/updated content, graphics are actually quite good. Lets hope ACE delivers in Vr.
ACC VR is good because it plays like GT Sport.... And you want to be good at it ..... The others are lacking a bit in that Sport Sim Vibe.....outside of maybe Iracing
I mate, thank you for your video. Last christmas I used a metà quest 3 on acc but I really didn't like it. Now i'm going to purchase a used psvr2 and I think I'm going to spend about 320 euros with pc adapter and usb dongle, do you think ot could be a good deal? I'd like to buy a crystal light but now the only version available is the local dimming version and it costs 1050 euros in Italy. Thank you
No. ACC sucks in VR. The temporal AA causes artifacts and the DLAA causes smearing. It's either a jaggedy mess, a shimmering mess, a glitchy mess or a smeary one.
Agreed VR is the future but definitely stay away from ACC it is horrible even with 4090. Do not let ACC be your first VR experience. Iracing or AMS2 and you will never look to a screen.
ACC just doesnt run well period in VR ..... In MAX SETTINGS I MEAN. Yea you can run it in mid to low settings ....but Max is the goal.... Im still going to grab a crystal super to see if it maxes......which i bet it still wont.
Automobilista 2…
Agreed, it runs and looks the best out of all the sims on the highest setting.
Madness Engine best on VR, Project Cars 2 works and look better than most modern games. Best VR Experience AMS2 and Project Cars games.
Perhaps ACC is the best RACING VR game, but overall I rate GT7 for the car modelling, the interiors in particular. And then there's the lighting quality. Just gorgeous.
And SO MANY different cars as well to jump into - honestly unparalleled and not spoken about enough
@Kireth If only they port GT7 to the PC

whats vr racing on pc like with the quest 3 ? is it worth using or is it grainy and blurred
too much compression
