- An absolutely incredible project. From a huge piece of epoxy resin, we carved a beautiful sea with US Navy ships.
A layer of 6.5 cm high and 8.1 kg of epoxy was poured at a time!

it's hard to see through resin properly on camera, everything gets flattened. you can probably see the paint job way better irl.
Why does everyone keep using bob ross as a standard of artistic measurement? Ive seen far better artists alive today than anything bob ross or his ilk have to show for.

I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand, the carving of the resin looks sick, but on the other, you can't see the G-man.

it's an amazing art, but what more amazing than the art? is the fact that she's doing it with the nails and somehow it's unscathed, no paint whatsoever!!

This is really beautiful. I wish she would have left one side of the diorama completely flat and smooth so that, with the proper lighting, we could see Godzilla under the water. Regardless, this is a true work of art. ❤️🍸
Imagine to hold the 8 liter of resin when she pour it gently because you gonna makesure there is no freakin bubbles to form at that precious masterpiece. She is absolutely amazing.

Beautiful resin cast, especially without any bubbles. 👏🏽 the only thing is, the waves and movement effects could of been done with a heat gun and paint while the resin was still in its liquid state.
They hand painted the runway lines! That's insane! The amount of skill to do that and have it look that good!

You should consider doing something from Tron Legacy. That would be an interesting challenge considering the entire environment is dark cloudy and atmospheric

Ma'am, if I may, you are a very talented individual, and you should be proud. The amount of detail you put into this one diorama says you're a hard, dedicated worker.
An amazing model! And it proves my point that they made Godzilla smaller for Godzilla VS Kong since there's no way Godzilla could stand in that cargo ship like they did it in the movie. You wanna make bealive that Godzilla fits on top of the ship WITH King Kong too? Nah man, what a nerf for Godzilla.
Totally agree, Godzi got nerfed in order to give some chance for Kong. If we compare Godzi from 3rd movie with those from 1st and 2nd, I can say that Godzi from 1st movie was absolutelly giant, remember the scene from airport, just only his single foot was much bigger than Boeing 747 (which is hell of size). Godzi 2014 would divide aircraft carrier into 2 halfs if he stands up on it.

Fun fact: the aircraft carrier has the hull number 74. That makes it USS John C Stennis (CVN 74). My dad was on that ship in the pre commissioning unit, before she was in active service

Awesome work. But I can't see godzilla under water in low light conditions. Maybe lighten the epoxy colour a bit, and/or leave a side of the diorama flat. Hope to see more of such works soon enough!

That looks am amazing! But there is a continuity goof. You’ve got an independence class littoral combat ship, first commissioned in 2010 with an aircraft carrier that has F-14s on the deck, which were decommissioned in 2006.

Awesome diorama!!!!!!!! Absolutely mind blowing. I hope you can answer some of my noob questions 😅 : 1. Where to find the boards you used as the sides of the resin mould? 2. What was that spray you used that just magically smoothened out the epoxy resin?? I don't wanna do wet sanding with dish soap for a few days on my next project...
i loved to much your arts. and i think u can use kisame hoshigake to make a video like this. kisame is a naruto's character the uses water as your own jutsus. it could be a perfect one ^-^
I love the talent you have at the fine points of painting the numbers, guidelines, and other intrinsic details. BTW CVN-74 is the USS John C Stennis, so nice touch with the "74"

This is awsome. I'd use less color or attempt to create a faded effect lighter near the surface so Godzilla could be seen more.
It looked way better Clear, awesome to see detail.
The waves on top could have been worked in but leave the sides clear.

This is so cool. I kinda liked the waves on the side without the shine it really was beautiful because you can see the craftsmanship in detail like an old fashioned painting but 3D with that underwater cloudy look then that glossy shine on the top. All in all amazing masterpiece!

My one critique would be you made the water too dark. You can’t see Godzilla under the water. Woulda been cool to be able to see him too instead of just his plates
