So I noticed people mention the difference in strength. Terry Brands is 9 years older than Eric Guerrero so there was a big difference in strength, maturity, and overall knowledge of the sport when this match took place. However both are great wrestlers that represent the sport and the good old USA positively.
Terry was a great wrestler and competitor but will never be considered an all timer because of one mistake in the Olympics where he should have given up one point on a single with his leg in the air; instead, he chose to fight it and got foot swept to his back by the Iranian - who basically ran the rest of the match. He got a bronze he didn't want. To see him this dominant against a damn good Guerrero shows how accomplished he was. One instant in time can change everything.
care to fill me in as to what personal experience you have with Eric that makes him a cocky sob? and you classify terry brands as humble?? lol, got me thinking there a bit...
If you can learn one thing from this video, it is that the secret to winning wrestling wrestling matches is "push pull"
lol
finn bell you don’t even wrestle d1 😂 he’d pin you keyboard warrior
Countering Eric Guerrero's duck under which is called strategy and tactic.
And lateral motion
Lol if you believe that, then you really should find something else to do
Amazing to hear Tom coaching Terry!!

Terry's a beast
Everyone has a game plan until they wrestle Terry Brands 😂
Except Kendall Cross. And Dabir.
Too bad the push out rule wasn't around then. One of the best rules ever to be incorporated into wrestling.
