*Overall 5 stars as it's exactly what we wanted,🧼 **allabout.wiki/Dyson-Upright** in terms of cleaning power. Suction is as good as all the reviews state. When we first got it, I first vacuumed with the existing vacuum and then with this, the additional fine dirt that was in the Dyson was gross and convinced me we needed this. We have medium length carpet and a terrier - no issues, I do imagine plush carpets would not work well with this. Also a little too powerful for most bathroom rugs. Great for area **rugs.One** con is the hose, it's great for reaching far away places (ceiling), but is frustrating and hard to use if you're within arm's distance (think couch and floorboards). This is due to the design of the hose having this long metal rod for extension. Also, I haven't figured out how to get the hose back together quickly as it's supposed to nest into the base of the vacuum. This piece might just be user error though.Canister is just like all others, still have to take out the middle insert to get all the dirt out. I often make a mess around the trash as I'm trying to empty it, but the suction picks that right back up.*
Very cool dyson I just brought this vacuum what does the floor attachment do with the red switch max? I have title floors some Rug's do turn of the power brush
It adjusts the gates in front of the head so you use it in the middle for day to day and the plus for heavy duty messes or the minus for hard floors or if it’s hard to push on carpet
This Dyson is the the worst Dyson I have ever owned. This machine does not pick up pet hair at all I have had the Dyson engineer round about four times in three years. My other Dyson dc25 is 12 years old and I have never had a problem with it. I have also got a sebo x1.1 which is 16 years old and I have never had a problem with it

Focus the suction at the brush roll

Why does mine not work on carpet? It grips and won't push. Can anyone help
dysons are no good for anything other than low pile carpet...no suction control or height adjustment so it bogs down and can be hard to push
easy setup
The beater bar motor failed in less than 2 years. $80 to replace. POS!
Should’ve rung em up 5yr guarantee
I’m wondering if mine has that problem too.
Oooooooooooh. =-O
