This past year Burrow supposedly wanted clyde edwards-helaire because its one of his best friends. And Burrow says his connection to Ja'Marr will win games... but it definitely isn't and actually has lead to the only interceptions that Burrow has had this year... all 3 thrown to Ja'Marr
Can someone explain why division rivals seem to be more even games? As in, really good teams like the ravens can lose to the browns? I feel like I always hear people talk about, oh its a division rival game. Is it the fear factor? The rivalry aspect?
Because they play each other twice a year every year. not hard of a concept to wrap around. These teams know each others tendencies more and ways to counter it. so its always a slug match and can sometimes be unpredictable. One of the main reasons why Lamar dominates the NFC is because they dont play him enough to get used to his style of play. But when he plays the Browns or Steelers, he doesnt dominate them like he does the NFC
^came here to say that - but also add because they are often competitive with each other for playoff positioning, there is bad blood often and players tend to be more self motivated

I disagree. There is really good football being played this year. Finally some parity in the league, not just the same 3 or 4 teams that usually dominate. Also, the NFC is finally starting to catch up with the AFC as far as having some young, talented QBs and high octane offensive play.
Ja'Marr has missed 5 full games and has left at least 2 games (Atlanta 2022, Vikings 2023) in 3.5 seasons and Bengals won 5 and lost 2. Losing to the Browns Halloween 2022 and the Steelers 2023 In 4.5 years there hasn't been any WR to successfully fill in for Tee on a consistent basis. Tee has missed 7 full games and the Bengals are 1-6 in those games. And the only win was the meaningless last game of 2023 when the Browns sat their starters Tee has left four games due to injury and Bengals are 1-3 in those games. But they have been 5-2 when Ja'Marr sat out or left games. Ja'Marr missed 5 full games. Not sure how many he left early besides 2023 Vikings game which was a win and 2022 Atlanta game which was a win. Trenton Irwin has successfully filled in for Ja'Marr (but not for Boyd... see 2023 AFCCG at arrowhead)
