As someone who hasn't played at all nor read/watched much on this game, this was a really helpful video. Appreciate the explanation behind your thoughts on the different combinations, particularly the lower rated ones and how they might be capable of moving higher up your list rather than just saying "these suck don't play them". I wanted to pick something that would be questionably viable but not necessarily outright declined from groups 100% of the time (just 95% maybe). C-tier classes (and bricked character) here I come :)

Hm, I am sad that this is your decision. Seeing what you described in higher tiers play out (aka some classes shooting up while others fall behind) would have been tremendously insightful, as I do not think there is much point dwelling on T1 or focusing on what works right now, for this short moment in time. More tiers will come and they will come quickly. I just wonder if Staff/Bow is only considered so good in pve because it deals okay damage whilst buffing everyone else, or because it actually deals high damage. I always wondered how close or far other weapons are from Crossbow/Dagger.
@@Gleandra staff/bow is very high damage, it's not just carrier by party buffs. Crossbow Dagger has always been leaps ahead for single-tarhet PVE (boss-buster), but since skill-expressions came out, this gap has become a lot smaller and other weapon combos can now catch up - this topic could be a whole separate video! And in terms of T1 - that's what is most relevant for global release. By the time T2+ dungeons come out, weapon and gear balance might change a couple times, so it becomes more speculation than a ranking. At least that's my current thinking 🤔
Is gs dagger a good solo class and does it fall off in pve or pvp later on in tier 2 I don’t rlly play mmos much but this class seems fun I just don’t want to waste my time long term
it is strong in all content, but is very tough in the largest-scale PVP (Siege and zerg v zerg). In PVE there was a period where it was weak in T2, but it got buffed in PVE and now its not S-tier but perfectly fine
I hear changing class late game is unforgiving. Do you recommend having alts or an alt? Maybe one that is primarily pve, if it's not viable in all pvp settings (bow/staff, not good for 3v3 or 1v1, but awesome for siege),? Also, if you do, are the loot drops random and tradeable across your account on the same server?
Check out The Whelps' youtube channel. He makes some excellent content for Bow/Staff builds and useful recommendations on how to manage your weapon progression. Basically, we can level and primarily use bow/staff for a majority of the game but once we max out both weapons we can start working on dagger as our off-hand for small scale PvP.
agree with all that enchiladies replied with. If you have a lot of time to play (6h+ every day) you can consider making a PVE alt to farm dungeon/guild raid drops. Otherwise, you're better off focussing on your main character and eventually building 3rd weapon once your main 2 weapons and gear are "capped for some time". Loot is not tradeable, but if you sail a good trait on your Alt, you can use that lucent on Main.
@@crazy-trick Ngl, I'm kinda excited that this isn't a super alt focused game. Lost ark killed me with that grind. So I love the idea of maxing a handful of weapons and playing a few different styles on the fly. But it's good to know about some viable alt char strats.
I'm a PVP focused player and I assume you still need to do PVE contents for good gears. What do you do if the class is doing kinda bad at farming dungeons, or should you start with a pve class first then transform into PVP class?
@@franz6122 if you are PVP player, you should focus on PVP class and PVP gear and just get by in PVE. Dungeons are not that hard anyway, you will be fine in PVE
NC have been careful with nerfs so far and all weapons eventually "bounce back", including Crossbow which is probably most "volatile". SNS GS is very strong atm, I don't expect it to get nerfed to the ground..

I wanted to play sns wand in general ( pve / pvp ) but my frend will play sns greatsword . If we do dungeon together ... will 2 “ Tank “ be too much ??
SNS/Bow is way better then wand. You have more mobility and can get out of cc, while with wand you need to beg that you are alive after all dmg is done.
hey what about Wand/Dagger dps for PVE its the only weapon combo i have interest in (no i dont want to heal) is it even worth starting the Game if i just wanna play that combo?
@@Deadcell-fo6hf just try becoming a really good Wand/Dagger then. You will have fun in PVP and for dungeons you will get by, they are not hard anyway. By the time actual challenge dungeons come out, you might have one more weapon progressed

Off to[ppic for just a minute. I bought the batlle pass. but it wont let me claim it out of my storage. Is this a bug or can u not claim it untill official launch next week??cant transfer servers while u have items in store storage

I live in Thailand and has a Thai connected account but when I try to download this game it says "unavailable in your region" does anyone know how to fix it? I tried downloading it by using VPN but can't play the game
I hope someone who knows can help you. I know that the game is published globally by Amazon and in some specific countries by Purple (but only Korean server). If you want to play in one of the Global Regions, you might need to get a Steam account IN THAT REGION where game is published by amazon and then play from that account.
what will be the most combinate duo party synergy to play all concent like duo dungeons and more? i want play duo with my brother and we think about sns/gs and bow/wand or better will be sns/wand plus full dps? any suggestions?
Both choices sound good. SNS GS + Bow Heal should let you instantly get into dungeons as both Tank and Healer are very high in-demand. Just make sure you and your brother like the playstyle of tank and healer. SNS Wand + Bow Staff is a nice option too, but remember it will take time until SNS Wand becomes good in BOTH tanking and Healing - it cannot replace 2 roles fresh from level 50

You can't just put all off-meta pvp builds in C tier for PvE. Some builds are really good for PvE even though you'd realistically never play them in PvE or PvP. Very niche for sure but that's no reason to put them lower than others. Just look at the top rankings for weapons in tower of infinity to get an idea of PvE burst. This is supposed to be a purely PvE tierlist. Do not mention PvP at all. That's just my opinion =)
Hard to balance this.. even if I went into more details about the PVE aspects of the off-meta builds, they would mostly land in the same spots. Maybe except GS/xbow, but even still I would not recommend it to a new player. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Should sns gs be worried about the upcoming nerfs they announced? Is ncsoft usually harsh with nerfs?

yep 2 tanks not perfect, but if you can heal the whole party as SNS Wand, you will be fine - no one should kick a good healer

Yes, for DPS every party likes to see Crossbow Dagger or Bow Staff join their party so its a safe DPS class to pick up!
