- This kid was in line and his mom told him to have little sister get in front of him to display her poster he didnt want to but mom insisted. The poster caught JJ Watt 's eye and came over but he signed her poster only but not any of his stuff

I don't get you people. Athletes are not morally obligated to do anything for you, sure they are obligated through contracts to speak to media and such, but morally, no. These guys gave up everything to come out on top as an athlete, where were you when people like JJ Watt was struggling to make it big with no trainers helping him? Everyone bashing watt but if you know the guy he is he's actually a good role model and helps kids with disabilities and orphans and always organizes experiences for veterans. He actually opens and reads his fan mail and drives to their houses in some cases. He sends signed photos to fans that write him. He goes to hospitals to hang out with sick kids and fans.

Many, many, many athletes, who play for many different cities do those things. It IS a part of the job. I'm sure Mr. Watt is a fine gentleman, but he's not God, for crying out loud. He has signed some of my kids things and has skipped my kids alot but I teach my kids its all part of it. The league, the world needs more well respected, well mannered people like JJ. JJ Watt is amazing! I am a Pittsburgh Steelers fan that lives in Houston and I watch them just so I can see him play (as long as they don't play the same time as Pittsburgh). The guy is incredible.

I go to these things for a different team. I've only once seen a star player sign stuff for more than a half hour because they're all really busy. I wish more people would understand that.
