My congrats to Mississippi State and them Diamond 💎💎 Dawgs. You fellas played like Champions and earned yourselves a place in history. HAIL STATE👍⚾️🥇 TO THE VICTOR GOES THE SPOILS
Yeah. A lot of us older fans are taking it in and remembering the Mississippi State fans who never got to see this, like the old Mississippi State Radio Announcer Jack Cristil. In Mr. Cristil's old famous catch phrase "You can wrap it in Maroon and White."
@@Lunzatis_Palemoon very true. They are the ones who put it in this direction. They leave behind a program that is growing fast. I get emotional about it. The state ofMississippi in general is always getting its face put down in the dirt. Great to see fans that love their school and love their state.
It's not so much of being "bad" as it was always a case of always falling short when it mattered most. Phrases like "so close and yet so far" and "always the bridesmaid and never the bride" have been a recurring theme for Mississippi State throughout it's entire history of sports. A great example is when the Mississippi State Women's Basketball team made it to the Championship Game back to back seasons and lost both games, the 2nd time was literally on a last second shot by Notre Dame. Let me put it to you in another way. Since 1977, Mississippi State hasn't been to the Regionals or Super Regionals only 7 times and out of those 7 times, only 4 of them were losing seasons. That's 37 out of 44 years of making it to the NCAA Baseball Post Season. There aren't many teams in the NCAA that can say something like that.
@@Lunzatis_Palemoon oh I see I didn't realize that they haven't won a national title in any sport it just kind of blew me away for a minute that it made them winning the college world series just that much bigger
@@Lunzatis_Palemoon yeah listen I watched when the Cubs won the world series that was pretty big 108 years it took him to win a world series listen I'm happy for state I'm happy for all the fans they definitely showed up to play
@@jamesmckay8663 baseball is actually a pretty popular sport though right? I’m glad they won their first title in something meaningful and not like women’s lacrosse or something lol. I get a natty is a natty but I’ve seen people brag about their school winning a women’s gymnastics championship…and we’re supposed to take that seriously?
Drunk blonde co-eds. Awesome.😂
Congrats State! Well earned title.
