Another fantastic video , really enjoyed it. Love the cooking Paul. Everything looked so fresh and green, birdsong was so clear amid the peace and tranquility. I just loved the way Dexter was especially at locks 12 and 13, he was just sauntering from one side of the canal to the other without a care in the world, just as it should be bless him. You both look really well and relaxed , well apart from the locks Paul 🤪. Our grandson gets taken to the ice cream farm where you're going Paul. It is really lush on the Huddersfield, guess due to a lot of rain. We went looking at second hand boats at the icecream farm before we decided on new. I loved the latest drawing And we received an email today to say the dog had died of cancer shortly after the photo was taken and the picture brought back so many happy memories that they both cried ❤️. Wow! Amazing to see your time lapse, it’s a beautiful job, I so wish I could do that. I’ve always wanted to paint and draw but I just can’t. The weather has been crazy everywhere, we get a couple days of sun and a couple days rain lately so everything is very lush. Normally August here is hot and dry, plants start to turn brown but not this year, it’s really pretty green still. It still amazes me how Morning Star changes colour all the time, I’ve never seen another boat change so much, she has a gorgeous paint job. Well done with the cooking Paul👍🏻. Hope you get some sunny days this week. 🙋🏼

It's funny how sometimes you look at a picture or watch a film and a childhood memory pops into your mind. You did that for me today. Beautiful pics of the Huddersfield canal, lush greenness, good company, and this comes to mind. I come from haunts of coot and hern, I make a sudden sally And sparkle out among the fern, To bicker down a valley. By thirty hills I hurry down, Or slip between the ridges, By twenty thorpes , a little town, And half a hundred bridges. Nothing like a Yorkshire education (even more that I remember a good few verses!!)!! Love and hugs and a big belly rub for Dexter Doggie.

Looks great the places you have travelled through lately. I quite like the scenery after the rain. It looks fresh and smells nice. Glad you are all looking good and relaxed. Hey how are you? Glad you enjoyed the time lapse, I know the owner was very happy with the results. We try and stay 2 weeks in one area so once we have the car back near the boat it’s not too bad. The car is about 12 feet from the boat right now but we have to move today and do the Standedge tunnel soon. Thanks for watching 👍👍

Paul your recipe looks great. I do something similar with broccoli, ham or bacon, and Parmesan cheese. They last days in the frig and make for an easy breakfast or lunch. Like a crust less quiche. Your art work is outstanding, as always, Paul! The area there looks so green & lush. Lots of birdsong. Who wouldn’t love being there? Another enjoyable vlog ! Wow there is something special about being near water you live on it and we live by it. Paul your cooking looked scrumptious but then again so did those scones question cream first or jam lol. Hey Irene. Hope work went quickly. We were a little shocked to be free floating in the canal but luckily no damage and no one was harmed. I am totally with you re the jam and cream debate. 😂. I was blown away with the latest commission. He doesn’t draw people often but it looked like a photo. Very proud of his talent. I am currently only 25 mins or so to work which has been fantastic, although I suspect once we are through the tunnel we will gradually be moving further away but come September the commute will only be for 3 days 😃. Before my illness effectively made it impossible to keep a dog I had a boxer for 10years and she(Trudy)was a real comfort in life so I know how attached you get with your dog. That's why I love to see how well you care for Dexter they always pay back your affection a hundredfold. Thanks, guys. Stephen

The places you've been lately have been perfect especially for this time of year when there are narrowboat traffic jams in some really popular places. Best not to be there. People baffle me. Wow! Watching the time lapse of that pastel was like watching someone do magic! I’ve always wondered how one keeps from smearing the soft pastels so it was amazing watching you move from upper left to lower right and using waxed paper under your hand. Excellent vlog again, the beauty of the canal, your super photography, and calm voice. Missed Anthony, but the cooking segment almost made up for it. I’m going to try those mini egg quiches.

Paul cooking! Bravo! Hahhaha - I'll definitely be trying out that muffin recipe of yours! I had a terrible scare on Wednesday - my dog, Hope, had a run in with a snake. Fortunately it was not a cobra (we do have those where I am) but a less poisonous breed. Happily, she's on the mend and I've just been hugging her a lot more over the past few days! Love you doing the locks, with Dexter plodding up and down keeping an eye on the situation! I nearly fell off my seat when I saw you walk across a very deep lock with no hand rails and keeping self balanced. I felt the fear!!!! I guess you are used to doing that. Sorry about the sad people who un-moored your boat overnight. I don't understand some folk. Great that Anthony has passed 2 of his exams, whilst waiting for the 3rd result, Fingers and toes crossed here for Anthony. Take care.
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed. The Huddersfield canal gets a bad reputation, and whilst it is shallow and narrow it really is beautiful. I taught that recipe to Paul as I used to do it every weekend but to save me having to do it Paul has now taken it over. I am very grateful. Should get my final results 19th August. Another great video. Smiling at the fire in July. 2 days ago we had to sleep with air con on, Winter in Northern Australia. Day temp was 35! Great cooking, though I've never seen jam put on top of the cream! Lovely filming again, I love the wildflowers.

Another fantastic video , really enjoyed it. Love the cooking Paul. Everything looked so fresh and green, birdsong was so clear amid the peace and tranquility. I just loved the way Dexter was especially at locks 12 and 13, he was just sauntering from one side of the canal to the other without a care in the world, just as it should be bless him. You both look really well and relaxed , well apart from the locks Paul 🤪. Our grandson gets taken to the ice cream farm where you're going Paul.

It is really lush on the Huddersfield, guess due to a lot of rain.
We went looking at second hand boats at the icecream farm before we decided on new.
I loved the latest drawing And we received an email today to say the dog had died of cancer shortly after the photo was taken and the picture brought back so many happy memories that they both cried ❤️. I don’t know if Paul has ever tried teaching drawing. He is very patient though so think he would be good.

Wow! Amazing to see your time lapse, it’s a beautiful job, I so wish I could do that. I’ve always wanted to paint and draw but I just can’t. The weather has been crazy everywhere, we get a couple days of sun and a couple days rain lately so everything is very lush. Normally August here is hot and dry, plants start to turn brown but not this year, it’s really pretty green still. It still amazes me how Morning Star changes colour all the time, I’ve never seen another boat change so much, she has a gorgeous paint job. Well done with the cooking Paul👍🏻. Hope you get some sunny days this week. 🙋🏼

It's funny how sometimes you look at a picture or watch a film and a childhood memory pops into your mind. You did that for me today. Beautiful pics of the Huddersfield canal, lush greenness, good company, and this comes to mind.

Hey how are you? Glad you enjoyed the time lapse, I know the owner was very happy with the results. We try and stay 2 weeks in one area so once we have the car back near the boat it’s not too bad. The car is about 12 feet from the boat right now but we have to move today and do the Standedge tunnel soon. Thanks for watching 👍👍

Paul your recipe looks great. I do something similar with broccoli, ham or bacon, and Parmesan cheese. They last days in the frig and make for an easy breakfast or lunch. Like a crust less quiche.

Wow there is something special about being near water you live on it and we live by it. Paul your cooking looked scrumptious but then again so did those scones question cream first or jam lol. Your vlogs start off my weekend and you two sound just like hubby and me it did make me laugh. Dexter is like Haribo she just loves to run along the beach wall she gets 2 good walks a day but our little jack called buttons is 13 now and she won’t go very far anymore. The Cornish way is cream first, it just shows I’m posher than you lot 🤣🤣. We were close to Anthony work a week or two ago and now we are getting a bit further. I am totally with you re the jam and cream debate. 😂. I was blown away with the latest commission. He doesn’t draw people often but it looked like a photo. Very proud of his talent.
I am currently only 25 mins or so to work which has been fantastic, although I suspect once we are through the tunnel we will gradually be moving further away but come September the commute will only be for 3 days 😃.

Before my illness effectively made it impossible to keep a dog I had a boxer for 10years and she(Trudy)was a real comfort in life so I know how attached you get with your dog.

Wow! Watching the time lapse of that pastel was like watching someone do magic! I’ve always wondered how one keeps from smearing the soft pastels so it was amazing watching you move from upper left to lower right and using waxed paper under your hand. Excellent vlog again, the beauty of the canal, your super photography, and calm voice. Missed Anthony, but the cooking segment almost made up for it. I’m going to try those mini egg quiches.

I had a terrible scare on Wednesday - my dog, Hope, had a run in with a snake. Fortunately it was not a cobra (we do have those where I am) but a less poisonous breed. Happily, she's on the mend and I've just been hugging her a lot more over the past few days!

I nearly fell off my seat when I saw you walk across a very deep lock with no hand rails and keeping self balanced. I felt the fear!!!! I guess you are used to doing that. Another great video. Smiling at the fire in July. 2 days ago we had to sleep with air con on, Winter in Northern Australia. Day temp was 35! Great cooking, though I've never seen jam put on top of the cream! Lovely filming again, I love the wildflowers.
