The ultimate version of Cha Cha Cha, it's just insane!! I saw him literally the day I tested negative to get out of Corona Jail as he toured Europe and I was absolutely dying but it was worth every second of pain. He is so good live, like I cannot adequately describe how much of a vibe it was. And he has the wildest like mix of people that make up his crowd. He appeals to legitimately everyone
I love love love your reaction! I watched this with my cousin who is authistic - he adores Käärijä - and tears falling along with a BIGGEST smile ever made his day 😭💞🙏 His mental safe place is always in Käärijä-world!
I sent him text and he just replied: "Thank you. Thank him. He knows good music. For sure." Can you check Käärijä's song Siitä Viis? That is my cousin's favourite song from K and he introduced it to me last year - what a banger, but there are ZERO reactions to that one! Only audio video available though,as it is frm his earlier years. I am sure you like the aggression in it 🤘
and let's talk about that OPENING act.... one of the most amazing mashups Ive seen in 62 years of life. And the contrast between the two gorgeous men? One very dark hair, one light golden - I call them the Salt And Pepper Twinks now LOL. Johnannes Brotherus can do no wrong in my eyes. Benjamin showed off why he won that dancing show (holy hell what a routine down the catwalk), and also showed his charisma is PERFECT for hosting. His performance in finals left year was lacking, but Hoida Mut still one of the most popular dance tracks to ever come out of Suomi.
Love your reaction ❤️😄 and 100% agree, Käärijä is sooo good! Our short king, the true winner 👑 I've been to one of his gigs but wish I could’ve been to UMK and the Emmas bc when I first saw this Cha Cha Cha at Emma gala I just about ascended. Utter perfection 👌💎 Subbed! Edit: you asked for recommendations, I got one, not even for reaction video but just to check out if you haven't already. It's an older video, Apocalyptica's cello cover of Nothing else matters. Incredibly beautiful.
I hope you’ve watched the performance of Cha Cha Cha he did straight after Ruoska at UMK. For me it was the celebration he should have had at Eurovision had he won. Total joy. 🎉💚💚💚😄
Thank you for the reaction! I am so glad I discovered Käärijä last year, and have been kinda obsessing over his music since then. Maybe you should also check out Portion Boys from Finland. They are very upbeat and more pop-ish than Käärijä, but I really like their stuff too. It is very catchy (at least if you speak Finnish). They have a couple of music videos on YT, the latest one is called Tilipäivä. They became second after Käärijä in last years' UMK.
Thank you again, I was in the room watching both shows, and watch these videos almost every day, he is our national treasure and I cant wait for his first own gig in Helsinki this year in may, I love him💚💚
@@elderemunkIf Käärijä had wanted to, he would presumably have been our representative. But the elected representative is also good in his own way at what he does and, knowing him, he will surprise even the organizers in the spirit of NO RULES in the end. 🤣
It was such a tough gig. He was in it to win it and did all the pre-parties around Europe over the months before the actual event, all the press, all the publicity and all the endless selfies with a smile on his face. At the same time dealing with the life change of becoming a public figure, which happened almost over-night since not many people even in Finland knew about him before his UMK win. And after doing it all and trying so hard and being a former athlete i.e. competetive person to come so close and not to win… I’m sure it took quite a toll both emotionally and physically. Enough ESC madness for a lifetime!
@@kaisatiainen1202 I think it's a huge shame, but I can't blame him. Thankfully he has a full-blown career now, so he got what he deserved. He deserved the win though, but he is the real winner anyway no matter what.
@@MaditaFin I think he's said he could perform (if they'll pay him enough :D ) but won't compete again. So we might get to enjoy his show on ESC stage again someday despite his decision. Fingers crossed!
@@kaisatiainen1202 Indeed. Hopefully in 2025. He didn't get an invite to Malmö (Swedes don't want to open up the old wounds about last year's controversy).
Even Sweden knows who should have won. Luv ya . There's a Crotatian guy with a song out called Rim tim tagi dim that you might like , I'd like to see your reaction to that music video. He is competing in Eurovision this year .
FINLAND DID NOT GET ROBBED. Maybe you liked the song better, but blunt reality is this: on Finals night, Kaarija's vocal performance was borderline poor.. Sounded out of breath, offtune. Those two things are critical, and if you do not perform near perfectly on finals night, that is just life. Loreen was right behind him in televote, and not a landslide for him by any means, [dominant yes, landslide no], where as he was like 6th in the Jury, significantly farther away from her. Those two things together mean that he lost fair and square. DO LET ME BE CLEAR: I *adore* Jere Poyhonen (Kaarija), crazy loving wacky glorious unicorn of a man that he is. As Ruoska shows, he is a brilliant performer. But as far as actual *song* goes, ChaChaCha is 75-80% Rap/chant, NOT SINGING. That undoubtedly hurt him in some ways, and without the brilliant stage performance, casual listeners arent going to hit repeat very often. Rap + in FInnish = far less appeal. The stunning gap in streaming between Tattoo and ChaChaCha after a year makes that point clearly. All these people screaming about how the televote should always rule - well, we had a near decade of that in the 2000s, and it is widely viewed as enjoyable, but critically lacking in much artistic merit - all sorts of idiotic novelties acts showed up without a jury to worry about. NO ONE is ever promised when they televote that only it will decide the winner. The year before we had a case of the televote being fatally warped over a sympathy vote for Ukraine, overriding the significant advantage both Sam Ryder and Chanel had... but you didnt see people screaming about that.
You are so wrong he was not off tune, off pitch or off anything. He wasn’t out of his breath. Let me remind you that Käärijä was moving and Loren was stil. Loren was simply boring….and a copy of that ukranian Mika’s song. Euphoria was great, this Tattoo was just boring copy with some extra spices. Good for Käärijä he is good just the way he is. ❤
Kaarija was 4th with jury and he did won televote with a landslide, also Loreen wasn't first in any televoting countries but Kaarija was first in 18 countries. Significant difference between them indeed
EVEN SWEDEN KNOWS 💚
We were at Eurovision song contest in Livepool and he blew the roof off. The crowd screamed chachacha so loud
The best thing is they sort of annoyed the host with the constant chant of “Cha Cha Cha”
Ruoska was the intermission act in UMK24. If it had been a competing number, it would have swept the competition for sure.
I love how you said WE 😍❤😙 love from 🇫🇮
That with the stick on the stage wasn't Käärijä but his double, Häärijä. Like a smaller twin of his, hilarious and amazing.😊

Kaarija + Erika Vikman = best fever dream possible
The one conducting the orchestra was Häärijä, Käärijä's goofier "twin" often seen in his live performances.
Wish you have opportunity to see him live some day. He is always so amazing 🔥🖤
Goosebumps every time I hear this. And yes, I was there. The best version of ccc ever ❤.
