    Finally I learn about a plug in that doesn't completely fuck up your vocal when trying to fix it

    It's so rare that I watch a TH-cam video and within 1 minute of watching it, it completely solves my technical issue, but that's what happened in this case. Thanks for the video!

    Aw dude!!! You're a life saver... I only realised there was noise in my recording after EQ and compression... On a perfect take, I'm sure we all know how depressing the thought of re recording is when you've nailed your performance... I just tried your method and in 20seconds my issue is GONE... THANK YOU!!

    I recorded a whole song today with multiple guitar tracks without noticing I was getting static from my gain and a hiss from my AC and this fixed it both I just demoed the plugin but I have to go run and buy it fast. I have messed around with Izotope RX and it is way to confusing this was so straight forward thank you!

    no more editing in adobe audition for noise removal for me yay! this thing does the same thing if not better! and now i don't need to remove noise for every audio file, i just pop it on the whole track or bus and BAAAAM no noise.
    and best part about this plugin, is that it doesn't just remove the in-between noise level, it actually removes the noise from over the top of your recording too, with the right settings of course. but took me like 5 min to get it right without sounding like i just crushed my audio file!
    Very happy, a must have!

    In the last part of the video where you’re using ProTools and the girl is talking in the scene, after using the plugin I notice there is still room noise left. It definitely sounds better, but how do you eliminate ALL of that room noise so that it’s not noticeable at all? When I’m watching a film or show for example, I don’t notice any room noise at all whatsoever, so I want to know how to get a result like that out of my vocal with absolutely no room noise noticeable.

    I actually like the NS1 plugin from Waves. One fader that kills a lot of that and I think it's cheaper.

    • @matrixate
      @matrixate 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have that one...it actually destroys the upper frequencies really badly even when the noise suppression is at 0. Just having it on the track destroys the audio instantly, on a somewhat clean take. HOWEVER....IF the audio is that bad....wow! It works really well...but you have to use a low cut filter because it won't take noise out of the lows as well as it does the highs. That's where I actually go with WNS or just end it all with RX for fine detail work in Post.

    • @matrixate
      @matrixate 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kalvenzander4710 I'd have to hear that vocal myself but, this plugin is really meant for live noise reduction. What you need is an external processing program like iZotope RX. It's significantly more expensive but it gives superior results.

    This is great! Thank you so much! Can you tell me how to get rid of the latency when using the plugin? I have it on my mic channel, but my voice is lagging behind as I'm speaking. Should I wait to use this plug in until I'm done recording? Thanks so much!

    • @joshmonaghan543
      @joshmonaghan543 ปีที่แล้ว

      Only use the plugin AFTER recording / editing your clips. It's also always best to keep playback switched off in your DAW. You'll always hear latency, no matter what latency setting you use! Secondly, using play back with plugins enabled is never a good idea, as your voice will be misrepresented. You need to hear when you're making mouth clicks and other unwanted sounds. Try to just bring your headphone volume up on your interface, so you can hear yourself properly.
      Hope that helps! :)

    Do yoy know why is there latency problems when I add the x-noise plugin in to a track ??

    • @anshuljain8515
      @anshuljain8515 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In all probability it is because noise reduction through the plugin happens in real time. I would suggest that you add the X-noise first in your signal chain of the track, then render it and then do the rest of the processing on the rendered version

    • @anshuljain8515
      @anshuljain8515 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@rakbeatz4196 hey man.. What I'm suggesting it is to first add X noise in whatever audio you're trying to clean up. Only add X - Noise as the Plug-in and nothing else. Then adjust the parameters when you feel happy with the result. After that, in logic it's called "bounce in place" .
      What this does is it creates a new file with the processing applied and you can use this in your project without any latency issues.

    I use a plug-in by Audionamix called Instant Dialogue Cleaner (IDC) which helps with background noise especially during dialogue. It focuses on recognizing speech and separating it out from the background noise. Here is a video on youtube about it: th-cam.com/video/jdyAO6Po8u8/w-d-xo.html

    • @MusicTechHelpGuy
      @MusicTechHelpGuy  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      X-Noise is almost always used for audio post-production (dialog) and for voiceovers. I've never used it on singing vocals if that's what you're talking about. If you're recording in a proper space, and applying the proper edits (or gating) to the vocals, you should never need to apply noise reduction to sung vocals.

    Thanks for sharing your knowledge! God bless you! And please remember the following:
    For God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
    Because God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that the world would be saved by him.
    He who believes in him is not condemned; but he who does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3: 16-18
