Cheers Clint appreciated. If you can do a camp it’s all the better if your at the top for a sunrise or sunset. Amazing on clear days if you get it all to yourself. Hope the video helps. The path from Wasdale is a slog for about 600 metres then it’ll becomes easier. I hope you get good weather🙏

Have you done skiddaw? If you have which is easier comparing it to scarfell? Thanks. Cracking video by the way 👏👏👍

I haven’t done Skiddaw as a wild camp, but I’ve done it just a hike. I’d say Skiddaw probably harder until you get to Little Man then eases off. I’d think about parking at the car park for Latrigg, just to get a bit of ascendancy. Wasdale Head to Scafell was hard but path is very good as very popular, but from Seathwaite via the corridor route is suppose to be easier but a lot longer.

Last water source I found was a stream at about 700metres. There’s plenty of places to camp on way up, even Lingmell looked great, but was very rocky under the grass on Scafell Pike
