In April 1984, Operation Meghdoot was a daring military operation undertaken by the Indian Army to secure strategic positions on the Siachen Glacier. Facing extreme weather conditions and challenging terrain, the Indian soldiers displayed immense courage and determination, successfully securing the region. Their bravery and sacrifice continue to inspire generations.
please note: Due to security restrictions, civilians cannot access the actual Siachen Base Camp. The video showcases the areas accessible to tourists, including the OP Baba Temple and the surrounding scenic landscape.
