    I'm old school and just iron fabric to a piece of white butcher paper! No gluing needed ..you iron it to the shiny side..
    I love your journals. Gorgeous!

      Betty this method sounds simple less fuss and easy to master. But I have to say butchers paper is something I've never heard of before. Is it like freezer paper? Getting hold of freezer paper is difficult but has to be worth a try. Thanks Betty for sharing your experience and advice.

      @@mashbash1 yes it is the white freezer paper that has that shiny side.. I've used it for years. I used to quilt and I found it great for applique and for cutting patterns out of it..like for Christmas stockings.

    Michelle, I love it, I can't wait for the border to reopen so I can get Ink for my printer, What you did is Fabulous. Love the fabric journal. Yes, your photography is amazing.

      So sorry that you have restrictions on the border which I hope will reopen soon. Not that I use my printer often but I could promise you I would need it as soon as there was a shortage. Many thanks for your lovely praise.

    Your journal is absolutely breath taking. My friend makes wonderful junk journals and she does all that tea and coffee staining. Most people would t realize how much work goes into that. Thank you so much for sharing.

    I did a video on different ways to print on fabric, but it didn't occur to me to tea-stain or eco-dye first! That is BEAUTIFUL! I LOVE all the different laces and textures. :-)

      You know me be now. Lol love my grunge and vintage looks and appearance so I couldn't resist using some pre dyed fabric. Pleasurable results all round.

    Hi, does the ink have to be fabric ink or just normal printing ink on paper?

    Please try heat transfer process 🙏

    Did the ink smudge off the fabric at all?

    • @mashbash1
      @mashbash1  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It was very resistant to smudging but I left the fabric to dry for a few days before using in my work.
