I agree with your point, but I think their currently PLANNED graphics style is going to be a happy medium between detail and simplicity. Go take a look at their website if you haven't, they have some concept art and an in-game model made up.

It's no Java, but this still chugs and a lot of machines, especially lower end ones, even with simple art styles like this. Plus the various particle effects and physics props add some load to it.

I kinda think the game should offer some modes with objectives to breaching the building other than killing the defenders. Like maybe a capture-the-flag style game with the attackers being the ones trying to breach?
One this is for certain: Due Process NEEDS a "Kick Player" system by team majority vote (similar to America's Army: Proving Grounds, where teams can kick their own player). With this much teamwork required, you're going to need cooperative guys who don't interrupt each other constantly with "I have another idea" or scribble on the map.

Ok, so this game dosent look great but what the devs are working on is incredible. This game has so much potential and could be the next big competitive shooter. I would go as far to say that it could be bigger than Counter Strike and COD. I'm looking forward to this game blowing up and hopefully coming out for consoles as well. :D

Honestly, even if they didn't update the graphics for the official release this looks like a great enough game at it's core.

If they leave the building, they get shot by UAV
no there is a uav flying around that will shoot them if they come out.

i think they should add levels to houses and grappling hooks where you can set a wall charge on the roof and jump in or drop grenades
