I am a hindu and i am from India, and i am into spirituality and lightwork since my childhood. From sacred scriptures (Paath) to mantra sadhna,i do it everyday. What i can tell everyone here is,this instructor has researched and understood the Vedic facts and background of this divine practice. Whatever she has told,is usually whats taught to us here in India by our gurus
I felt like posting a comment to praise and motivate the instructor who's spreading this culture and divinity attached to it. Namastey

Dear friend. I understand that the name of your channel is a Hindu/Indian word and I am so sorry to say this! But it is the truth. I am a translator specialized in brand names. I admire your work but you should know that the pronunciation of the name of your channel and spoken by Spanish speaking peoples means crazy goat. The wonderful name of your channel in Spain and Latin American countries will sound extremely comical, rendering whatever you say or do lacking seriousness. I'm sorry, but someone has to advise you...

The using of the right hand, thumb and middle finger is a cultural thing from the hindu tradition. If you watch the tibetans, they use wich ever hand and finger they use.
In India the left hand is used for washing your behind, and is therefore considered to be dirty since india doesn't really have soap at toilets in the same way as people might have elsewhere. The first fingers is the pointing finger, the accusing finger, so you don't use that finger for your mala.
Of course there is the more esoteric perspective to it as well, but you can use your mala in which ever way you like it.
You are using the mala to work on your self in the end, , remember that.

Broken soffa I grew up as Buddhism and were taught that the soul practice is Non-attachment. This vdo and how people practice Eastern culture now freaking stress me out. Meditation is all about being present, you can literally sit anywhere; empty handed and breathe.. mindfully. Your rules, believe and restrictions create overthinking, guilt, judgement and shame for doing it right or wrong. Mentally not unhealthy.. ugh

My best friend passed me down this beautiful Mala made from wood and it has engravings on each bead. I never sat down to prey and focus on myself but I have it somewhere I can see it everyday. Several months go by and he moves out of state, ~4 months later I start to feel like my life isn’t on track. I’m battling feeling alone and I feel like I’m neglecting something beautiful that was given to me so I’m going to take the time for myself and the energy that has been passed down to me. Thank you for this insight

I used to watch these vids five years ago with my (now ex) girlfriend. Needless to say, after our break up, I have distanced myself from these practices and lived these 5 years with a lot of hurt. Now I feel I have healed and wish to return to these beneficial practices. I will be using my mala that I made myself with the rudraksha seeds five years ago. However, my cynicism shadows me and I feel like I am fooling myself now. I am not a hindu, and I am very cynical of all religion, but I find that there is some degree of truth and benefit in every belief system. I respect and love this practice, and am looking forward to returning to it. Much love

Dear heart, thank you for sharing and my sincere apologies for only responding. First, I want to say thank you for sharing all this with me, I appreciate that your openness. And, I understand how you feel. I used to struggle with these feelings too, and I can see now that we often do so because there is one part of us always "playing it safe" by not truly trusting, not truly opening our heart to the Divine, not truly giving ourself to what they call "blind faith". There are a few things I want to say about that. First, we can't truly come to know the Divine if we fear that we may be fooled, or wrong, and respond in cynicism. We call that block "doubt" and that blocks is a real killer in spirituality. Because when you feed that block, it presents well and makes "sense" and it feels like a good protection but it will not allow us to ever know the truth. Because the truth is not known in the dark escape of our mind but it is known in our heart and soul. When we resort to doubt, we buy definition close our heart, and close the access to our soul consciousness. So, the difficulty is doing something that is the very thing we fear...to love. I know that maybe five years ago, your world became temporarily dark due to the pain of loving someone and that relationship ending. But I believe the last 5 years taught you that the hurt came you from you head, not your heart. It's the severing of attachments not the love, that hurts. Ironically, we can love without attachments, yet we die a little with our broken attachments. The joy and peace of love exist in us always, but it takes the courage to want to heal and open our hearts without judgment and fear that allows us to go beyond what our own limitations are. And in doing that we can expand our consciousness and experience beyond what we can perceive now. That Is true in love and true in spirituality. Many blessings on your spiritual journey.

I understand what you mean by "doubt as a safety mechanism". Indeed that appears to be my case =) I tell myself that my logic is only human, and insufficient, but then my doubt "guards" (blinds) me still. Also -- "it is the severing of attachments, not the love, that hurts" just wow. I will be thinking of this in the future. I will ponder upon the things you said. I will be coming back to read this message again whenever I feel like doubt is bothering me.
Thank you for your message. It is incredible, very touching, and quite sincere. And the fact that you have taken the time and put in the effort to respond to someone from across the planet with such an in-depth and beautiful message??? It just means the world to me. I don't know how to show you my gratitude, really. I am forever thankful. I will involve you in my prayers. May you always meet with such kindness in life as that you have shown me.

Lady, thank you so much for this video! I've been practicing mantras twice a day since June 23rd and didn't stop for a day. I feel like I could do this all life long. It has blessed me in ways I can't even explain. In the beginning, I had no mala or knowledge, just a desperate need to get help amidst all darkness and suffering. Since I purchased one, I use it following the non-index finger rule and it became so natural that I apply when I use a Christian rosary too.
Thanks for clarifying the logic behind that. Your presence and posture are so amazing they immediately communicate bliss!
May the Gods bless and keep you! Greetings from Brazil 🕉️

There is a lot of misinformation and confusion out there, so you have to be careful what you read and believe and what this is based on...Spirituality is not symbolic, it is about direct and authentic experience. This information I'm sharing is from the ancient spiritual tradition of the Divine Lineage including the masters Babaji, Sri Kaleshwar, Shirdi Sai Baba, Ramana Maharshi, Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Buddha, Jesus, Mother Mary, Adiskankaracharya etc , and it's based on the understanding that each of the five fingers is connected to one of the five cosmic element in Nature, and those elements are connected to Shiva, Nama Shivaya. Na-Ma Shi-Va-Ya. They are bija seed sounds from Mother Divine's Sri Chakra, the creation chakra. Na- earth - thumb, Ma-fire-index, Shi- Sky/askasha- middle finger, Va-water-ring finger and Ya-air-small finger. It's a bigger teaching but I hope this shortcut download gave some more understanding.

This helped me a lot. I carry a mala bracelet, and use it whenever I'm feeling disconnected and drained. I take good care of it and protect it. I made this mala, so I consider it a part of me. I hadn't meditated on my mala recently, and I knew I wasn't supposed to use my index finger, but I forgot how to use the middle finger instead, and never knew the lore behind not using the index finger. That was most helpful!
My mala is white howlite, with silver disks every nine beads. The guru bead is also howlite, as is the bead leading to the tassel, which is a matching white with gray inclusions. It has been with me for several years, and it saw me safely through the pandemic. I would have been lost without it as a symbol of my place between Earth and Sky. Thank you again.

I appreciate your thoughts, and so many people think that way and yet I totally disagree. If you play the piano, you need to follow the notes to play a song. If you bake a cake, you have to follow the recipe so it turns out a certain way. If you build a house, you need to follow construction plans. We have guidelines everywhere. The guidelines exist to create certain results. When I say "the wrong way", I'm referring to following guidelines that will ensure success and results in your process. Many people do things without knowledge and never progress. I'm talking about energy formulas that will create deep transformation if applied as guided. I see so many people in spiritual circles who just want to "do their own thing", mix and matching systems and traditions as if that gives them more. The irony is, it's a waste of time and just creates illusion circles. Pick a path, and follow it perfectly. That's the kind of discipline that leads to powerful transformation.

I have live out of body for 2 year in meditation, but that was through meditation process, but now i am looking to go through mala. Mala is like a tool to raise your kundlini energy, and to raise at the level where you meet with supreme prower. Or we can call it in simple words to understand the higher friquency.
One that that i want to add while enchanting mantra there is a strict rules that are bound with enchanting which no one tells. That is you can not react or give response to any persone while enchanting mantra using mala.
You can call it a challenge if u wish. Try this u will find yourself with higher concentration and higher focused as you go ahead.
And your bain visulation power will also increase. There are many other things.

This is all BRAND NEW to me so my amount of knowledge is pretty much nonexistent. I was actually hit by a car while riding my bicycle to work on June 25th and I'm still in the hospital because of it. But I came across a talisman online while lying in my hospital bed and ordered it because, for lack of a better way to explain it, I just felt this strong connection/feeling/energy/calling, whatever it may have been to the talisman and it ended up guiding me down this path of internet searches that resulted in chakras and mantras and mala beads, etc. I can't help but want to continue pursuing this path to wherever it may lead me and right now, it's taken me to your video. But I was trying to find out how to choose my mala beads and couldn't find a video after subscribing to your channel on how to do so. Would you by chance be able to assist me in my pursuit of this knowledge? Sorry for the long comment but thank you for any guidance you may be able to provide or even where to start to properly gain what I am seeking.

incredible video you've done, I started meditation for 3 years about 4 or 5 years back and stopped for 1 or 2 years, I wish id come across this back then as I have just this year again starting using meditation, the explanation for the mala buddha necklace and how to use it is amazing. I am now going to watch the other videos here as spirituality for me is key, mind, body, and soul wise, great for observing friends with there aura or new people. 🙏

I am not studied in your way so I can understand when you say there are do's and don'ts but being very Eclectic in my particular belief, and being Pagan, I think it is intent and energy put into something that makes it powerful or effective. I understand you wouldn't use your index finger and maybe most others as well but saying it is wrong isn't really truth. You could have said in my view it is wrong. From my point of view using the index finger, representing Fire, could be an important way of doing it depending on my intent and desired outcome. For me it wouldn't be "burning out" the power but using the element of Fire to help accomplish a goal. Very nice video and I learned a lot from it and thank you for your time and effort in making it. Blessed Be

We can write the mantra of our chosen deity 108 times daily in a diary. When writing we must do it meditatively. We must be completely absorbed in writing the name and remembering the deity without any worldly thoughts or distractions.
Once the diary is completed we can keep it in any temple , offering it mentally to our chosen deity.
This simple act then becomes Likhith Naam Japa
    Thanks

(I'm right handed. So left handed do the opposite.) Saying this in the hopes it will help another with similar situation. I feel this is ok to use the mala this way because spirit knows intent.

As per scriptures, thumb represents self, index finger for ego and other three fingers represents tamas, rajas, satva quality
We don't use index finger because it's represen ts ego and we use other 4 fingers . It means the 3 gunas merges in Self during japa

    • @selenem3384
      @selenem3384 2 ปีที่แล้ว

this resonates. Thank you for sharing your view. wow. It is clearly deeply rooted in true yoga philosophy.
      Another take is
      Thumb - God
      Index Finger - ego
      Middle finger - mind
      Ring finger - body
      Pinky finger - soul
And to connect God to mind, body and soul ego must remove itself during meditation.

I've seen these being used without knotted strings and no tail thing at the end. I think they can be beneficial if you have a burning question in your mind and want to find an answer to, through repetition your telling your higher self to look within and find the answer. Sometimes the answer surfaces 6 months later.. these beads may help find answers quicker but the premise remains the same, your using a tool that helps you repeat a mantra or question you have about life.

Is it true that the mala used for Jaap should not be used for wearing?

    • @swathimaa-shivaloka3027
      @swathimaa-shivaloka3027 หลายเดือนก่อน

No, that is not true but I can explain the reason why someone would say that. In fact, it is highly recommended to wear your Japa mala because the energy of the mantra is transmitted to the beads and the Mala's energy grows and offers you additional protection circles. But also, when you wear a high vibrational object like a mantra meditation mala, there is the danger of someone touching your mala or it getting lost, so it is recommended to be very mindful of that.

Namaskar. 🙏 Sorry but, some aspects in your video are not correct. The Index finger stands for vayu / air. But it also stands for the ego. This is why it should not touch the mala. The thumb stands for agni / fire, the middle finger for akasha / space (sky / aether) the ring finger for prithvi / earth and the small finger for jala / water. So it's not right when you tell that the thumb is earth and Index fire. Hari hari bol. 🙌

No wrong way to wear them, just remember to keep them protected from other people's touch and the ground. Rudraksha can get wet, no problem, just keep them out of the ocean. You can sleep with your beads. Hope that helps!
