When I started my spiritual journey at the age of 19, I used to watch and listen non devotional songs and movies.
As I became serious for spiritual life and I kept on chanting automatically my taste got elevated to higher taste that's spirituality.
Today I am 24 yrs old and I don't listen to any non devotional songs and movies.
So I would only say keep on chanting and slowly you will realise that listening non devotional song and movies is purely waste of time. It's useless It's simply a dirt.
So keep chanting.

And there is already invested all the potency, all the potency of the supreme person into His name.

And you have no hard and fast rule for chanting. It is not that... Now, suppose if you have got to go to temple, you have to dress yourself properly; you have to purify yourself and so many things before you enter into the church. Of course, any sacred place, the rules and regulation are the same. The Mohammedans also, they go the mosque after washing their hands and feet very nicely. So... And Hindu principle also, the same thing is there. They go to the temple after taking bath and purifying. So many things are there, either Hinduism or Mohammedanism or Christianism, according to country and climate and people. Practically, the principles are the same. They may be... Formally, they may appear to be... But the thing is there.
But here, niyamitaḥ smaraṇe na kalaḥ. Here you don't require that you have to take your bath before chanting Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna. No. Oh, because you are in the bathroom, therefore you cannot chant Hare Krishna? No. You can chant even there. So such a thing. Because if actually Krishna, that very name, is Krishna, then how I can remain impure? The potency is there. It makes me at once pure. Just like as soon as there is light, there is no question of darkness. Darkness and light cannot stand together. Either it must be darkness or must be light. So as soon as there is light... So Krishna is light. Krishna name is light. Therefore there cannot be any impurities. Impurity is due to my, this material body. But I am, at that moment, I am in the spiritual platform. So this impurities cannot touch me.

Hare Krishna! I was on and off chanting since I found Hinduism two years ago ..then I planned this stay at an iskcon temple near my city of durham NC USA. On Thursday night I was gifted my first set of beads . And I began !! I did all 16 rounds throughout my day at the temple on Saturday. I go back to the material world tonight 😢. I shall miss this atmosphere.. I want to move into a temple full time.
I'm at the age of 16 and i wanna fully be in the world of Krsna, at the age of 8 i started visiting iskcon, Mayapur, very often and danced over there, my heart felt peace while looking at Krsna, i love Krsna more than my entire life, im currently at my lows, and hence i fully wanna fully dedicate my life to Krsna, i wish i could live in Mayapur for the rest of my life, Hare Krsna❤

Hare Krishna mataji. I came in Krishna Consciousness in September 2022. Since then I started chanting. I haven't progressed too much, started from 1, I am now on 6 rounds. I pray to Shri Radha Madhav that they shower mercy upon me so that I can reach to the 16 rounds as soon as possible.

I don't know all these rounds...I just enjoying chanting his name whenever I'm free with out any work ....I chant while driving bike, while cooking, while sitting alone.....I feel he is always with me....he saved me in many situations....I only have time to chant his name but ...hmmmmm I have to invest some time to sit and do pooja....when I do pooja ....I get tired of all those course....and agarbathi makes me feel drowsing....I feel more close to Krishna when I chant his name again and again.....so on.....pooja literally put my mind out of him.....any problem with this nature.....hmmmmm

I used to chant regularly and my rounds were increasing also from 1 to 5 and I have even chanted 16-21 malas a day. But suddenly the connection break . Due to mayas attacks i am unable to chant frome few weeks . But i am trying to come back to the track started chanting again. Hare Krishna.🙏
