Thank you for the comment! I’ve been trying to focus on beginner guides lately as I feel there is a huge influx of newer players with the anniversary event. I’m glad you found it useful :)
As 2 month player, crafting magistral staff +5 is already give me a headache.. And for this necklace, I settle with free +2 and crafting +3, and that's all :')
Hi @Locke.. I'm newbie, I want to asking about adamantite XL where can I get it? apparently to craft brigandine we need adamantite to +5 it? i was searching it the whole time but cant found it..
Is it better to go one level at time and mix in the seals each time or is the result the same by maxing the equipment in one go and adding the seal? Really helpful stuff! Specially seeing the whole +5 process.
It increases the chances of success by the amount of a seal and stacks with the seal. So for HP, ATK and MAG, chance of success increases by 15%, all other stats increase by 3% when using the weekly paid buff.
Hi. When you dismantling, you also lose the books that you used for awakening that equipment (in your example, you lose all the books and materials used for awaken Ras'Alghul+2 to 5*).
All those books are returned, I did a video recording the books used and how many I get back when I dismantle here: th-cam.com/video/PwvIi621mZE/w-d-xo.html
@@LockeD_wotv Oh you're right, sorry, I got confused and I didn't consider that you were dismantling a +2, in that escenario you don't lose books, in cases where your equipment is +3, +4 or +5, you do lose some materials and books, those used for awakening the base for your dismantled equipment if I remember correctly, so if you dismantle a +4, you lose the materials and books used for awakening your two +3 to level 30. Thanks.
So I am trying to craft a +5 Virtuous Contract and it says I need 1,020 Velvety Fluids to create it, but I have 1,372 and I can’t create it! Why is that? Using crafted equipment also.
Scroll down on that screen and you’ll see that you need some additional be velvety fluids. I think it’s horrible design that they list it in two places instead of 1
hey mate, one question pls, when i try to make my +5, is asking for adamantite XL to do it. But i have 0, can i do something about it? i can't find te place to farm that item
You don’t need adamantite XL, you can do it with the L, M or S too. It is giving you that notice becuase the sum of the smaller adamantite you have isn’t enough to craft the +5. Get more L adamantite and you can craft it
@@LockeD_wotv So, related to this question - I can't find anything anywhere that tells how many L Adamantites are equal to one XL Adamantite. Does that information exist? It would be nice to know how many ores I'm actually trying to farm for...
@@DeadpoolsChimiChanga I think you can see it when attempting to level a weapon. Either under the weapon exp bar or somewhere at the ore page. As you see in the video, under weapon exp bar.. the next ----- number. You can calculate it by yourself after that. I don't know if wotv calc have that information. You can check it or wotv.info
These crafting materials are too grindy geez! Haha. I manage to pull Garvall in the brown ticket something rare summon but I skipped it because I thought I gonna get some rare unit or turtle money something like that, but it's Garvall and so I didn't get to see him walking in the carpet. Shucks.
Seriously, the only thing that I hate on this game crafting and equipment..I have a few questions.. Is 5+ Dark gloves 3k visiores on shop worth it for Garvall? I have him max. Also for 600 shards ticket. Elsirelle or Sakura? I can max one unit.
I think its worth it to spend 3k visore for +5 gloves - I did as I didn't want to spend a lot of time farming it lol. Of those two I would pick Sakura because she has +Light/Lightning/Dark resist and can lower resistance of enemies to Light and Thunder which can be useful in a lot of scenarios.
this is really a helpful guides, only im still confused with what you're saying since you couldnt give the proper example like, on weapon we want to max level first, before smithing but that's not true on "some" accessories - we might do the opposite (smithing first to max 1 stat, then lvl up) like, why? like, why not doing that (smithing first before leveling up) too to weapon then ? or vice versa (just fking leveling up first before smithing the rest) for those acc then ? i just can't get the point you're trying to make, can't see the justification
Sorry, another nub question. How can I determine which type weapon is best for each unit? Example I farmed all of items to +5 Yuna magistral rod.. What type of weapon best for MR? I'm guessing "magic" type right? 😂 how about Auron shimmering blade? I dunno which one is the best.. "assault or critical"? 😂👍 also why did you choose barrier on tidus necklace?
For staff/rod Magic type is usually better. I usually prefer assault most of the time. For Tidus' necklace I chose barrier since it gives +10% Magic resistance, and barrier gives a lot of spirit which also decreases magic resistance. So I can put it on a unit to improve magic tankiness significantly.
Day 1 player lol. I actually hate farming, but overtime it’s been a huge stockpile. Also I have a lot of things I can craft but don’t have enough books to craft … so the materials are just there.
Excellent video. It answered a number of different questions I had re: crafting, but was too introverted to pop into a discord to ask. Thanks!
i recently started playing the game and this is the best crafting guide i have found, thank you so much for doing it! great job :)

I personally do it one level at a time and mix in the seals each time but I’m not sure if it actually matters or not
I been doing the same, makes me feel assured of the results I get. Though it really sucks when you go through ten levels with no boost to the stats xD
Great stuff man :)
do you have a video on using the weekly paid buff from the shop? to enhance gear

@@LockeD_wotv ah i c, thx

Is there some sort of issue crafting a +5 shimmering blade Atm it won't let me says I've not got enough resources when I've got more than enough
Not that I'm aware of, but I haven't crafted that particular item yet.

Where do you guys farm Adamantite XL?
You can get it from quests or some specials shops. Just farm the L ores instead. :)

Is it needed to get +5 virtuous contract? I just play for a week so it's hard for me to farm that hard level :(
