Paul Mccartney/Wings - Another Day (Full Band Cover)

Thanks to Marina Rangel and Igor Maciel for participating in the recording, as well as Guilherme Queiroz from Zorak Records (Santos - SP) who lent us this beautiful Premier Resonator drum set from the 70's for the recording.
I have always loved this tune and particularly the setting in which it was created. It was a difficult period for Paul after the breakup of the Beatles, so he and Linda decided to live in the Scottish countryside at his High Park Farm in Kintyre. The recording does have a "home-studioy" sound to it, if that makes any sense, and I love that it reflects the mood that they were living in at that time - having created the RAM album just by themselves.
The bass line Paul created for this song is just absolutely genius, from the quick runs that come right before the chorus to the more paced parts of the verse. A video covering it with tabs is coming out soon.

All guitars were played through a Marshall Origin 20 Tube Amp and captured by both the Shure Sm57 and the sE Electronics X1-A. The Bass is composed of the sE Electronics Kick and the DI signal.
Vocals were recorded through a Rode NT2A and a Electro Voice RE-20. . Drums mic'ed by a pair of Samson C02 pencil condensers as overheads, 2 SM57's for top and bottom snare mics, and a Shure Beta 52A for the kick drum and the SE Electronics Kick for the floor tom. All acoustic guitars were mic'ed with the Stagg SRM70 Ribbon Mic.
