- This did not go according to plan BUT I didn't give up. Instead, I evaluated what I learned and looked at options on how to evolve and transform the creation and idea that I had. This was even better second time around and I absolutely love the look and vibe of this painting. Using only paint and water you could achieve this too!

Tutorial Information and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):
▶️Technique for this Tutorial: Dutch Pour
▶️Pouring Medium formula (unless otherwise stated in the video): My paints are mixed with only water for this one at a ratio of 1:1 You may have to adjust your ratios depending on the paint brands you use.
Note: Floetrol Owatrol is thicker than the US version of Flood Floetrol so you might not need the water element when mixing your paints.
▶️Cell Activator: When I use a cell activator, I use Australian Floetrol and Titanium White with the ratio of 4:1 - You can experiment with other alternatives like Silicone Oil, Vegetable glycerin, pre-stain wood conditioner or even just paint and water.
▶️Color Palette for this Creation (Brand and Color Name):
Royal Talens Amsterdam: Titanium White, Pyrrole Red, Azo Orange, Quinacridone Rose Light, Nickel Titan Yellow, Emerald Green, Sky Light Blue, Greenish Blue, Ultramarine Violet Light, Oxide Black.
▶️Hair dryer: When I use a hair dryer I use the Remington D3010 and always use the cool setting and the lowest blow speed.

Well the end result is beautiful
❤ fabulous
This creation works well, better than the first attempt I believe. Thanks for showing us how to trying again, using a new path same color palet. Bravo

Thank you so much ☺️
Thanks so much, Mark! I really like this! I think it’s a really interesting, colorful piece. I, too, loved the way the black and white looked before any colors were added. Great job!!❤️
Thank you Linda 🤩🤩🤩
What a gorgeous work of art, Mark. Truly representative of what you were trying to convey. Also, I love your voice, so soothing!
Thank you so much 😀 I really appreciate you saying that
Thank you Mark for a few minutes of peace!
The political landscape in the US is extremely volatile.
The black and white represent the turmoil and the colors are the change coming .
You’re so welcome Carla. Hang in there the color will be on its way I’m sure 💜🙏
Stunning! I love the bursts of color and would definitely love to see that composition on a larger canvas. I especially love how you show us everything, even the part you are not happy with and how you brought it around to the final version. Thank you! Denise ❤
Thank you so much Denise. I appreciate that! It’s essential to show people that we can always take a new direction if we need to x
Hi there ❤ from Slovenia❤❤❤
Hello 😊
Everything u do always turns out beautifully. I thought the cookie cutter was doing a lovely job. I loved all the lines it made. So please continue yr idea & figure out how to do it. Ut will be awesome. Great video Mark & have a great rest of yr week.
Thank you so much! I appreciate you Pamela 🤩
@@MarkJRatcliffeArt yr very welcome & i love watching u create beautiful art. I really makes my do.
What a beautiful piece, Mark! I must admit that in the wet version, I wasn't very fond of the big pink area, but in the dry version it's so much more vibrant and fits well to the rest of the colours.
I did like the open cup try at the moment you took away the cookie cutter. Maybe spinning it on a turn table would have made another nice piece of art. Also, after you scraped the surface for the first time, I found the design very interesting anf would probably have tried to use it as part of the base colour.
This is a very interesting video with a great end result 💖🖒
Very interesting creation, Mark. I liked the change. I do that sometimes too. Turned out pretty.
Many thanks Ramona 🤩
Wow das sieht toll aus lässige Kreation Mark 👍👏👏👏🫶🙏💖🇨🇭
Thank you 🤩
Hi, @ Mark! The next one will be with spring and fall?! :D Such in interesting idea to save a painting the author doesn't like! I feel like missing something in those 2 corners white and black...that's why I was thinking to make all the seasons in one :D Love it!
That's a great idea! Lots of ideas rolling around 🤩
🤩🤩🤩🤩
If at first you don't succeed, try try again!
👍🏻💯🤩
Nice recovery. Pretty. Not loving the pink.. 😊
Thank you! 😊
