      Chyworld and Nonye technically no, they are not the same. I say technically because in some recipes it does not matter which one you use eg Abacha. But in some recipes it matters because they do not smell the same. Use ehu for pepper soups. Ehuru is mostly used for spicy peanut butter.

    I haven't learnt my lesson, I'm back again LOL. I have always wanted an alternative to Nchianwu (scent leaf) and the dry "efirin" (scent leaf) they package here in my neck of the woods gives a bitter taste to my pepper soup and my cousin said they must be mixing some other things with it and calling it scent leaf LOL. I will try parsley as you just did and just use Ehu, I have so many other spices...atariko to name but a few. I need to experience aunty flo's one "spice" pepper soup and live vicariously through you! Summer is coming, Spain is calling! xxxxxx

      Yes nchanwu can be bitter when dry, even the fresh one I store in my freezer becomes a bit bitter after some time.

    Tehh me, do you by any chance have recipe for ox tails? Rock cake?

    • @FloChinyere
      @FloChinyere  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      We have something called oxtail pepper soup. It is prepared exactly the same as this one but instead of assorted beef, oxtail (cut into small pieces) is used. There's also peppered oxtail prepared like any peppered fish or meat:
      Peppered Fish: th-cam.com/video/RB93JUO9AzE/w-d-xo.html
      Peppered Chicken: th-cam.com/video/Zr3AJcSys00/w-d-xo.html
      Peppered Gizzards: th-cam.com/video/ZNCWCcdwLQY/w-d-xo.html

      @@FloChinyere rock cakes or rock buns looks like scones except sweeter. They have it in your neighboring country Ghana as well as Jamaica, Guyana and Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago. The Caribbean version has grated coconut and the Ghanaian version no cocnut. They have it in England as well. You put raisins, cinnamon and other spices, butter or margerine, milk and eggs ( could be eggless as well). Hope I answered your question

    Can someone make pepper soup with both chicken and goat meat together?
    How is it likely to taste?

    I think that she uses chunks of onion so that way she can take then out later.😘

    You have the perfect recipe here. I see others adding peppersoup spice but the best spice is Ehu to give that classic aroma. Thank you so much for this. I'm making mine as soon as possible
