  • In my opinion it’s one of the most underused and greatest collaboration tools in Microsoft 365 / Azure AD. Entitlement management, AKA Access Packages provide an awesome way to share and collaborate on access packages containing resources from multiple sources including Microsoft Teams, groups, shared applications and even SharePoint websites. All can be rolled up into one great packaged and shared either with internal users, or with externals guests or organisations. This session will take you through in a step by step way to setup, deploy and manage an access package.

Thank goodness for your videos. I'm studying for the SC-900 and looking at Pluralsight, but their explanations and demos are often lacking, you just seem to be able to explain and demo technologies far more concisely and clearly so I can understand it. Thanks for posting.

Thanks Richard, I’ll try my best, and of course my videos are free! 😊

Very nice feature. Haven‘t heard about it yet. Nice for collab with external organisations. Thanks for sharing Andy. Have a nice day.

I would love to see you do a deep dive into share point. I want to move all of my shared files (mapped drives) into share point and I would love to see examples of how this would work.

Thanks for the comments. I've done sessions on SharePoint before including a full session on Mover. As you can guess I don't have an environment to move so it's difficult to provide a full demo of this. Here is a great article that may help[ docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepointmigration/fileshare-to-odsp-migration-guide Also if you have a large environment you may want to consider third party tools like Sharegate it's excellent.

Hi Andy, I loved the video. However, are you planning to create a sequel to it: How does the end user experience look like after they go to MyAccess portal? What steps do they need to take? I'd love to see the whole workflow.

Hello Andy, thanks for the video, it's a great tool. Something I'm missing, where is the user requesting for the access package? Could you please clarify that? I'm missing that interaction.
    Thanks in advance!

Not at all, you have noticed when I completed creating the access package there was a link. Once you’ve assigned permissions to a group, or guest you simply send them an email invite containing that link. Once clicked, they will then have access to the resources. It’s that simple!

Don't forget to mention licensing requirements for all the topics you cover, in this case, Azure AD Plan 2, E5 or A5 is required to use Entitlement Management. 😜
