    Ranger Tugs in their natural environment! I never get tired of seeing them. Thank you for all the wonderful running video. Beautiful boat and cruising grounds.

    I saw you taking a bit of a beating between Gabriola and Protection islands for a bit. Glad it smoothed out a bit afterwards. That Orca encounter was insane! Safe travels, Cheers, T

      Georgia Strait wasn't all that bad. 2 footers with an occasional 3. The Orca encounter absolutely was insane!! The one orca, in particular, was HUGE. OMG, when it surfaced and that back fin was out of the water!!

    The other downside to a Hybrid is that towing capacities are usually lower on the Hybrids, if that is a concern. Great videos! 🙂

    Another great video. Thanks for showing us what we’re missing and giving us something to shoot for. What do you recommend for condensation on the windows?

    • @Letsgochannelsurfing
      @Letsgochannelsurfing  ปีที่แล้ว

      We are still working on that problem. For normal levels of condensation, a couple of fans powered off the USB ports works.
      When it's pouring down raining outside, or the waves are splashing water all over the boat, turn the heater in the boat on, and POOF, the window will go white, and the condensation runs like a river down the glass. We then just use a rag to wipe it up every few minutes.

      Thanks!! A Final Cut Pro upgrade changed some default settings. LaZina fixed it.

    The one time my brother let me dock his boat at Powell River was the last time. I paid a lot of dollars to fix it (fibre glass, new coat, etc.). Got to hand it to boaters who don't bump into fuel docks.

      OMG!! Docking is a controlled collision, sometimes, it's uncontrolled! :(

    During the summer, that area around the northern Georgia Strait gets very warm water for swimming. You'll find 75 degree water and sand beaches at Savory and Hernando Islands and the Seal Islets near Comox. But most incredible is the shallow lagoon at Mansons Landing - well worth a stop.

    Looks like you went right by Mitlenatch Island. If you have time on your way back, it's an interesting stop. It's the largest bird sanctuary in the area with live-in volunteer naturalists on site that are more than happy to be your guide to the island. It's even covered with Cactus!

    Why are you flying a Canadian Flag?

    • @Letsgochannelsurfing
      @Letsgochannelsurfing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a curtesy to the country we are visiting. Ganges, Georgia Strait, Campbell River, all all in Canada. The USA flag is flown from the most senior position, which is the stern.
