I love these ideas. I have loads of index cards in different sizes and I don’t use them very often. You can make your own budget PET tape using packing tape and magazines. Press the packing tape over a magazine picture, soak in water for 3or 4 minutes to dissolve the paper, then rub off paper from back of tape. The picture will stay on the tape and when it dries the tape will become sticky again! Win-win! Another budget idea.
I love this project. I am a senior on a limited budget. This project is pretty, simple and inexpensive. Many thanks for doing this video. More of this kind would be appreciated.❤
You're so dangerous. Just finished cutting the grass and hanging the laundry on the clothesline. Came in and went on TH-cam and started watching your tutorials. Love, love, love what you did with the index card. Such awesome ideas, can't wait to give it a try. You're such a delight and your awesome ideas. I'm so hooked on watching your tutorials. Have a great and blessed rest of your weekend.
October 6 2024! Chose to watch you above others because I know you are mindful of budgets… thank you! So- cute. Use index cards in my journal and decorate them too. It’s nice to have a pre decorated stash for days when the writing is slow… thanks!
I love working with index cards! Don't forget to pick them up when all the school supplies come out. That's when I usually stock up on various sizes of index cards. Look in thrift stores, Goodwill and garage sales, too. You can also trace a round glass if you want that thumb notch and don't have a circle punch. Tags are great to make using index cards and playing cards. That floral tape you're using is stunning!!! So many possibilities using index cards! Great video! Tfs, Michelle! 💗 😊
Hi from Phoenix, AZ Just found this wonderful video. Love this idea of using index card. Every time I go to Dollar Tree I buy the packages of these white and the multi coloured. Going to make some of these. TFS..🌞🌅🌞
Oh, my gosh! These are simply gorgeous. I am in love with that tape! I am in love with your washi stickers, too!!! Definitely those things are now on my very long wish list. LOL. I might try taking some packing tape and putting it across some decorative napkins. It will be a lengthy process because I will also need to use a glue stick to attach. I might try dropping some really flat dried flowers onto some tape to see if that will work. While you were applying your glitter I was thinking could you store it in a plastic take out container and then just smush your project into the glitter. Application and clean up might be easier. Just a thought. Choose a container large enough for your 3x5 card to lay down into. TF these awesome ideas!!! So glad Andrea the Cumbrian Crafter sent me over to your channel. 🙏🥰
Hi, this is Bonnie...I just love your idea of using index cards, I would have never thought to do that. I was making samples of each one as you were making them on the video. :) Thank you for sharing your ideas. :) What I also like about them is that they are simple and easy to make. :)
Love these ideas. I have a box full of vintage index cards I have been saving as I wasn't sure what to do with them. I look forward to making your projects with them !
Thank you for sharing these! One of my favorite low cost ways of adding color with few supplies is the cheap water color palettes and a finger spritz bottle (both from dollar tree) you can make it any color, and as light or dark as you please. It gives a whimsical watercolor vibe.
Good afternoon Michelle, love these sweet little projects! They are so awesome! Thank you so very much for sharing all of your ideas and for the inspiration, have a lovely evening ❤️🙏🤗 Hugs
I love the simplicity of making little details that make big stuff looks amazing🥰So, I love what you're doing with the index cards, and Thank you so much for sharing!
I use a glitter glue instead of tape and sprinkling on the glitter. It's less messy. Or I can use glitter paints on the edges. Both are very inexpensive. Found them at 5below and Dollar Tree. Haven't tried using the index card idea yet. I will now though. Thanks for sharing this video with us. Big hugs from your pal in Oklahoma.
Hi Michele, your projects are great for busy Moms or students on a budget! They can be done within just a few minutes a piece, allowing immediate satisfaction of accomplishment! Would you please share which Pet Tape you are using? Is it the Autumn Rose, the Lovely Garden or something else? It’s just beautiful. Thanks for sharing your ideas! ❤
This is so awesome! I love index crafts and I LOVE The Washi Shop! I have bought many different PET tapes and matte tapes over the years from that shop so I'm thrilled you are coming up with more ideas for how to use them!
Mish! Wow what an awesome idea to turn index cards into something so beautiful. I've got lots of index cards that I dont need anymore and didn't know what to do with them. Thanks so much for these ideas! Love them...and love you for what you're doing 💕🥰

Such a great video ❤... and I found it's best when starting out to buy small ... like what you will use for one project at a time then over time you have a nice supply to work from . When you showed the Velcro dots I found them at the dollar store! Same with the double sided tape and foam tape ❤❤❤❤❤❤thanks so very much for sharing all of your thoughts and ideas
What a great idea using the index cards & how many ways you made those cute little add-ons! Thank you for the coupon code for the Washi pet tape! I used it. They have a really great variety of tape & stamps! Yes pls do a few more of things like this because I can add them to my albums.❤😁
