MvC:i, while it has many other problems, isn't at all dumbed down. The game has no TOD's that we've been able to discover yet and the tag system leads to a freeform playstyle that actually leads to unique mix-ups. It's fine for you not to like the game but the game is pretty fun to play. UMvC3 while I will admit is better in every aesthetic way and had a much better roster was starting to reach the end of its meta. Like MvC2 it will become less and less appealing to new players and viewers alike. Not that MvC:i is bringing in a slew of veiwers either but at least were seeing a wider range of play atm.
Love watching this game more than MVCI

Christian Thomas again i love fighterz, its a great game but umvc3 is still better, it has more depth, there's more playstyles (both zoning and rushdown are variable), more defensive options, the characters are more diverse, more variety in the combo aspects and overall much more challenging. Again dont get me wrong i love fighherz , i think its an excellent game but i think its one step lower in all of those categories than marvel.

Preach the good word, my man. I love DBZ too but Mahvel is one of a kind for a reason. It's a legacy game that helped shape EVO to become what it is today, hell even BEFORE EVO was called EVO.
Ryan was absolutely right in all that he said toward the end there in his speech. NOTHING beats Mahvel, absolutely nothing.

This game is so clean. I love watching and the art is beautiful compared to MVCI. Wish this game was still at majors I dont play but I love watching this game. Sad that it got replaced when it's clearly the better game than MVCI.

Tomas D. He didnt top 8 for a huge time, and he did mention he disliked the route that SFV was taking. But shortly after he was an amazing person helping evwryone with his twitch character guide or road to platinum. He seems very happy with them changes he has done. I hope he does a great comeback and starts being a top 3 in future tourneys
I agree with Chris G. Xmen vs Street Fighter and MvC2 were 2 of my favorites playing. Bring them back even if its as side tournaments. I'm sure people don't mind.

Its not about him as a player, its more what his team said at the end of UMVC3. For almost 4yrs straight of UMVC3 its been nothing but Morrigan soulfist and Zero Loop getting complacent with top tier because this game so saltly and you really want to be the best and have a career. "Do you want to win, then play top tier" I think the players like dualkevin, KBR, angelic, paradigm, staticalpha, KyleP, scamby, apologyman( frank west, Firebrand) Miniboss, IFC Yipes(His Win at summerjam) J Wong, Clockwork etc really kept the game so hungry. You can be yourself, play who you want and be good enough to win if you put the time in.
And his chun li nasty... IMO
Morrigan and Phoenix are not broken people play stupid teams and use terrible strategy against them.
