Really nicely done, nice intro to 2 ticking that is sorely needed in guide form, there's 2 points to bring up that may help others: 1: instead of holding for 3 ticks, you can simply pray range/mage for just 1 tick, each may work in different cases, although holding 1t is simpler and often the "correct" choice given many wave starts. 2: you can begin a cycle before you step out, you simply need to step out on an "off" tick from a prayer click. i.e anything that isnt the actual mage/range prayer switch, this holds true no matter what npcs you're stepping out into, for example each | being a tick separation: Range pray | Pray Click into LoS/Move | Mage Pray | Pray Click into LoS/Move etc.
Thank you!! and for sure yeah, I suggested stepping out each time as something people can remember that's repeatable and consistent, but anything that's comfortable really. I appreciate you watching and giving info :D

@@iNbl00D simply im talking about correcting for an offticked blob, holding 1 or 3 will do it if you're 2 ticking period. yea you will...... this is actually the hardest mechanic in inferno lol (yes I know that's a bold statement). AAB- All About Blobs Seriously the inferno is doable by the average player, it's just end game so only so many people get to it. Most importantly it requires knowledge of the tick system which is why it seems like only a few can do it. Those "few" (it's actually a lot of average players) seem like immortal gods but really just have learned the tick system. Runescape is divided into two types of players- the ones who understand ticks and the ones who don't (but will). To the players who don't, the inferno is impossible to them *because they don't know ticks*. I used to feel like a noob who can't do anything and thought it was impossible just like you, I can tell you it's not nearly as bad as you think.

At 8:34 this example is obvious Bc where the npc’s spawned, they could instantly see you. But I’d like to know or learn more about how to tell when an npc sees you. Especially ones that don’t instantly attack (blob, ranger). The obvious response would be “when they stop moving 5head duh” but I’m just looking at too much to see when something stops moving. I’m looking for where to go at start of the wave. Maybe the best is to learn the spawn points and when from each spawn point each npc can see you.
On what tick does the blob's attack amination happen? Tick 1 (except for the first tick the blob sees you/first cycle)? I would guess this to be true, because it would align with how all other mob attack animations work (i.e. you need to being praying range the tick before the the ranger's attack animation happens). @aatykon is this correct? Sorry for the stupid question.
Yo Ive made it to zuk 4 times now and still cant 2 tick flick the blobs so this guide is perfect and hopefully will help a ton once I do figure it out. Awesome guide.
If anyone is struggling with this download the visual metronome it makes this a breeze. All you need to do is set it up to switch colors every game tick then whatever color the mage/ranger attack on you start the two tick on the opposite color. IE; if the mage attacks on red you will switch to range on green and then back to mage on the next green repeating as needed. If you need to fix the cycle cause the blob saw you late you can just start the two tick cycle on whatever color the mage/range attacks on. This is really good for people who have a bad internal rhythm like me. I start two ticking and then my mind wanders or try to attack a bat or something and I’m a tick late lol.
I can one tic fine when I use the activate quck prayers. But when I try to 1-tic between range and mage pray as he does at 3:44 my over head prayers completely vanish and It's as if im not praying against anything. Why is this?
@@rubixcubesolve Sounds like you might be switching too quickly. If you are using a visual metronome click whenever you see the next color you have the entire time its a certain color to switch prayers.
Am I right in thinking this: If you set a visual metronome to count to 4, and you stand on the edge behind the pillar, you can always click the mob on the other side on tick 4, which always makes him see you on tick 1, getting you straight into the cycle as shown in 2:02? This would also fall into what aatykon was explaining in his second point of his comment: That you can enable the prayer before stepping out.
@@duckcat687 ahh okay! Another question: when 1 tick alternate flicking, do you have to be in a cycle? I read that once a prayer is activated on a tick, even if you turn it off in that same tick, it's still active in the next tick. So if you switch between mage and range prayer every 1 tick, you're essentially invincible against range and mage on the same tick?
@@The7up I don't think you're invincible no, but 1 tick alternating will always work against blobs. I hope you get your cape soon, once you hit 60+ and Jads a few more times, you'll be so close
I'm confused on how to re-align the blob and ranger/mager by tanking a blob hit. Does this only work if they both saw you at the same time, or can it be used in any situation? Also, which ticks do you hold for 3? Does it matter? For example can you do 1 (range), 2 (range), 3 (range), 4 (mage) into the 2 tick or 1 (range), 2 (mage), 3 (range), 4 (range) into the 2 tick?
