      @Eddie Trincas He probably got more of the focus toward the front. Which is probably a good place to start, since when you take pictures you see the front. If you're taller than people, they aren't gonna see the top as much as they would see the front. Usually people will have to go back at least twice to fully fill in everything, possibly three times

      I am a "bald guy". I started shaving it off when I was 19 (22 now) when it started to get thinner on the back and I do not envy him. I mean, the result is great and I'm happy for him that it worked out so well, but I would rather be/stay bald than having to worry about my hair again. After a transplant the (not transplanted) hair still keeps thinning so the fight is not won. You can make it stay longer with shampoos, diets, massages etc but that is so time and money consuming. I respect anyone's decisions but I don't think, the ones that shaved it off already and accepted it do envy good transplant results.

      Yea unfortunately there’s a lot of envy in these comments. It’s sad really because it means they are unhappy with their own appearances. your results are amazing, ignore the haters. what matters is that you got your confidence back. Living with a receding hairline is horrible especially in a young age, im only 27. lived with shitty hair for the past few years, and finally decided to do something about it and got a HT 68 days ago. most people will not be able to tell you have gotten a transplant unless they know about it, meaning people who have had hair loss themselves. congrats once again man i hope to have a similar result as you.

    You look much better, but unfortunately, it also very visible that you had the procedure. The problem is the front line: too many multiple-hair grafts and the hairline is too straight. It can be fixed but I would consider a more expensive clinic to do the job. It's really worth it.

    • @stevebbuk
      @stevebbuk 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree melon. The front is the worst bit and what an inconvenience whenever you shower. His hair wasn't too bad in the first place and as he grows older the artificial hair will increasingly look out of place.

    Great video Matt. I have a question and some future video suggestions.
    Question: Did you experience any noticeable thickening of your hair from month 18 to month 24? I ask because I had a fue 20 months ago to restore a receding hairline and bald crown. The hairline came in within 10 months, but the crown has been very slow in coming in. But I’m noticing that now at the 20 month mark, the crown hairs are getting a bit thicker.
    Suggestion: maybe do a video related to one of these topics:
    1. to fast growers vs slow growers
    2. Reasons for slow hair growth in the crown.
    3. Optimal lighting conditions to photograph and document hair growth accurately after a hair transplant.

    I used a hair system for a while and Im glad I did because the first thing you want to do when you have been receding is go for thickness, as soon as the guy walked in the room I was like ' the thicker the better'. However as soon as you get the system on, you realise that thickness not only looks fake but psychologically , you cannot get your head around the massive change. This means you will never have confidence with it. I gave it up after 3 months. If I ever go for FUE treatment, with this knowledge in mind, I will ask for a natural look , no double hairs and no making up a new hairline. Single hairs and stick as close to my original hairline as can be traced. Its also important to make sure a proper surgeon is performing it and that they have knowledge in folical placement. If they insert the new folical in the wrong direction , you get a 'dolls hair' effect around the hairline

    • @j0nnyism
      @j0nnyism 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most people quit hair systems because they make the mistake of going for a thick one. Try a much lighter thinner one.

    I've watched loads of your videos and also had a hair transplant in Istanbul, just last month though. I don't think I will end up with a perfect result with just one session, but pretty sure it'll look way better than before.
    My plan was that if I end up with too many multi-graft follicles in the front, I'll just get a "clean-up" later by a doctor that is renowned for attention to detail (Dr Edward Ball is currently top of my list). Couldn't afford for him to do the whole job, but say 1000 hairs in the front, not too expensive.
    Your hair looks good by the way, but I'm glad you acknowledged in this video that you're not 100% satisfied, respect 👊😉 Have you considered doing the same, or does the idea of doing it all again put you off? And would you go FUE or FUT?

    Honestly, I don't have any experience or knowledge with hair transplants. So as an impartial regular random passerby, just like strangers you see in your everyday life --- it would never occur to me to question if you've had a hair transplant. It looks like everyone else's regular natural hair. Nothing odd or anything that would cause me to pay attention to whether or not it's a transplant. Don't listen to these rude haters.

      Hey man, thanks for the comment! Congratulations on your result! Yes definitely, you can get more growth after 7 months (especially on your crown area if it also has been transplanted in your case) because the transpl. hair on your crown area seems to grow slower and you may need 1 year or even longer for this hair to fully sprout.

    Ich werde eine ähnliche HT machen. Zwar habe ich moderatere Geheimratsecken, aber eine sehr hohe / zurückgehende Haarlinie. Die Dichte ist super!!!
    Leider ist die Haarlinie, wie im Video erwähnt, wirklich nicht so gelungen, da sie sehr künstlich wirkt. D.h. eigentlich sollte eine Reparatur gemacht werden, bspw. von Dr. Michalis oder von Dr. Heitmann!

      He said he tried it fir a while but wasn’t ready for it so young. He said he’ll probably give it another go when he gets older. I can understand that in a guy so young

    looks good, but what if we don't use the minoxidil? minoxidil has other side affects than the dry scalp and I'm not keen to it. you reckon we can stop losing hair not using it with the other stuff?

    Congratulations for your work, man ! Always good content. I have one question: Is 2 weeks period safe to re-start weightlifting in the gym after FUE hair transplant? I am considering doing with light weights and no intensive cardio exercises, the idea is just return slowly and do not leave body "stopped" too long. Thank you !

      thanks man! Yeah after 2 weeks you can start working out with low intensity. After 3 weeks I was already working out normally

    You have good coverage but an unnatural front hair line unfortunately.they have been lazy with the grafts. They needed more refinement on the front re separation. Should be the 1 2 3 placement but they haven't done that consistently re the gaps. I suspect they didn't use very powerful lenses which is aust in this day and age. Good luck

    I did a hair transplant 2 years ago and the results were great. Ive noticed in the last 2 months that the hairs transplanted and the VERY front (right on where the hairline begins) and getting very very thin. did you have the same experience?

    my doctor took hair from my sides above my ears to create my hairline. I must say it does look natural because that hair above you ears or above your neck are soft hairs.Its not all that hair but it is blended in.

    I hear lycopene is really good at getting rid of excess dht from the body. 20 to 40 mg
    Just a thought. Great video

    You could probably make it look more natural on your own just by plucking out like 20% of the hairs on the hair line. It looks a bit too perfect. Hairlines are more staggered. But I agree with most of the comments here saying you look great and the results are good. Cheers!

    Cool video Matt! About dermaroller I want to ask that what if I press the roller on the scalp areas rather than rolling, like using it like a dermastamp. Does that work? Also, do you think some scalp massages can help with hair loss, if yes which ones? Sorry for such a big question. 😅

    • @letsgethair
      @letsgethair  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes Vipul, it will work if you use it as a derm stamp. I am not a specialist in scalp massages. But any scalp massage which makes the skin on your scalp move will be pretty useful I think. Thanks for the comment man!

      Olson Mino - Man up and except your baldness. Life's too short to keep worrying about your hair everyday, and the painstaking process of fixing your hair, again everyday. Hair transplants won't let you escape the fear of your hairstyle, believe Me.

      BrigidC123 people try tbf and so did I for so long and then I just couldn’t take it.. for me it was because my sexual Market value decreased dividends with patchy thin receding hair instead of full head of hair

      tom mate - I'm a female I suffer with severe Alopecia and use to wear a wig. Now I don't wear that wig and feel a lot more comfortable without it. I've excepted my loss of hair and have decided to go with the flow and not worry everyday like I use to. I'm a much happier person now.✌️

      BrigidC123 ah I’m sorry that you have had to go through that.. but it is a bit different as severe alopecia is something you can’t repair currently.
