I love the background feature - allowing us to custom color backgrounds to the brand color schemes. I created a UI kit in Canva to make a quick prototype with clients as Figma can be time consuming but would love to see more figma features.
Same! Figma has a steep learning curve, but I want more to come to it. I think it'll be a game changer if they create a way to provision SharePoint pages from Figma designs. I'm confident it'll come eventually!
These showed up in our production tenant at different points over the last couple months. More recently (in the past two weeks), we've also gotten the new "Banner web part" on pages. Well, more specifically, what used to be the "Title area" on a page is now a web part that can be deleted, which is useful if/when you want to replace the home page of a site with a page you created in the site. I've been checking my dev tenant every few days for the co-authoring experience, but sadly, nothing yet.
There seems to have been so little change to Sharepoint in recent years. Not much option to change layouts or have any precise control over page objects, padding, height, width etc. Also nothing for presenting data from Sharepoint lists apart from list view web parts. I resorted to using a power apps gallery, but integration with Sharepoint is poor.
I agree SharePoint hasn't gotten as much attention as other "trendy" products like Power Apps. This year is very different, though. Between the updated page editing experience, Click-to-Copilot, and the upcoming Flexible layouts feature, things are very exciting this year.

I know the feeling. It seems my tenants are the last to get anything 🤣
I'd be happy if they would just allow us more screen width.
That would be nice!!

A new haircut, Steve?
Yep! I get annoyed when I have long hair. Except for the beard, of course 🤣
