The part where the choir comes in (about 1:00) reminds me of the score when Mr. Pike finds the Big W in "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World." I'll have to look that up to compare.
I love this piece for the same reason I loved Goldsmith's Star Trek: Motion Picture "V'Ger" music; it's both beautiful and terrifying at the same time! Same way with his Poltergeist "Rebirth" - darkly beautiful and scary.
@NotOrdinaryInGames Well, not really. There are some musical cues missing from the album, like the music dropped from this particular track. The beginning of the track is where Mrs. Brisby enters the rosebush and is attacked by Brutus. The rest of the track is where Nicodemus is introduced and tells the rats' story. In-between is the music heard where Justin is introduced, etc. Forgive me for sounding nitpicky, but I wish MGM would just release a complete score album!
@Milomia9 The channel icon is an image I took from a Gif. The gif is from a Japanese animated short about an otter and a fox. This otter is Internet-famous.
@NotOrdinaryInGames Well, not really. There are some musical cues missing from the album, like the short music cue where Mrs. Brisby is running through the log and then meets Jeremy. There also happens to be music dropped from this particular track. The beginning of the track is where Mrs. Brisby enters the rosebush and is attacked by Brutus. The rest of the track is where Nicodemus is introduced and tells the rats' story. In-between is the music heard where Justin is introduced, etc.
@NotOrdinaryInGames Really? I'd like to listen to it. Is the difference the language used in singing it? Can you upload it? Anyway, there IS more score that is truly missing from the soundtrack. If you pay closer attention to the movie, you'll see where music is missing from the album. Try this: Go to the scenes in the movie in-between Main Title and Allergic Reaction. Listen carefully for music in-between those cues, and tell me what you find. ;)
3:42 When Mrs. Brisby finally learns what happened to Johnathan. :(
Great special effects in these scenes with the flashback. Good music, too!
from 5:10 on, that's where it's like having an anxiety or panic attack
Love this music
I love this musical score

2:02 This is what you hear when you enter Heaven...
All Dogs Go To Heaven, I got to say it.
@ThePenitentMan1 The only track truly missing is the alternate version of the credits song, by Sally Stevens. It was only included in the Italian dub.

EVERYTHING is included on the soundtrack.
The beginning of the flashback scene reminds me of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"
