Thank you for the informative video...i know this is a lot of work...1 question, as a Canadian, can I come to Australia, buy a 7000, a truck, miners right and fill my pocket with nuggets, and return every season to refill? again, thank you for your help...
@@GoldNuggetDetecting thank you again for taking the time...hopefully you are on paydirt, and not indoors...I read your other answers, and maybe a tour would be an eyeopener, as to yield...I am 58, and have lived canadian bush style 2 years ago, and grew up on a farm, so im a tough bugger, lol...i have some ideas of integrating my battery building knowledge into a WA gold finding "magnet" also, lol...But if I could get enough gold over 6 months to pay for my year, i am a happy camper, as per yield...Chances??? Good ground??? (with a 7000)...again thanks, and take care...
@@carlbole2142 For a first time visitor, I’d do a training course in Cue WA, if still operating due to COVID, and then go gold detecting. Gold prospecting in Oz can be tough and in isolated places so preparation & planning are essential. www.gold-prospecting-wa.com/gold-prospecting-lessons.html
thank you for this usefull informatoion, may I ask, because I have really hard time finding all the information, given you are from abroad and willing to go prospecting in WE, beside Miners Right and 40E permit, is there any land still free that covers those two permits only? What I mean is, how I understand the Pastoral leases is they are under the Crowns land teriroty but you still have to obtain the permission from the land tenement, what are the average costs and how do you get the permission from the owner? Thank you in advance. :)
In WA - Step 1. You must have a Miners Right - current cost Aust $26.50 - www.dmp.wa.gov.au/Minerals/Miners-Rights-2427.aspx Step 2. Know the type of land you want to prospect on and get appropriate permissions. (eg: if the ground has a ‘ pending’ Exploration Licence (EL) you don’t need to seek permission of the pending EL holder. BUT, you need to inform the pastoralist that you are detecting and camping on the pastoral lease. You can usually search the internet for the station name and ring them/send them a letter. However, if the ‘pending’ lease changes to ‘active or granted’ EL or is already a granted EL, you need to lodge a Sect 40E Permit, cost currently Aust $90. www.dmp.wa.gov.au/Minerals/Permit-Section-40E-over-granted-2421.aspx. The EL holder may object and have 21 days in which to do so, you wait 21 days before you can go on the EL. When the DMP send you the paperwork it includes a Notice with pastoralists name and address, you fill in any details and post to the pastoralist. The agreement for approval of Sect 40e, is that you must inform the EL holder details of the gold nuggets you found and their GPS locations. The DMP provides this form to you and when you post it, one copy goes to DMP and the other goes to EL holder. You notify the tenement (EL) holder and pastoralist when you are leaving. www.dmp.wa.gov.au/Minerals/Where-you-can-go-prospecting-2426.aspx In Tengraph, ‘live’ mining tenements are shown as colour green and pending ground is a blue colour. There are other of types of tenements ( Mining Lease, Prospecting Lease ) and you must seek permission from the holder. Details are available in Tengraph. www.gold-prospecting-wa.com/metal-detecting-permission-letter.html Hope this helps.
@@GoldNuggetDetecting Thank you very much for this detailed and useful answer. One more specific question, when I receive the paperwork from the DMP, is this all via email online and I am not obligated to have a temporary residence applied in Australia? I will be on the go without accommodation. Also it seems reasonable doing all the paperwork prior landing in AUS, that is why I am asking if all the documents are via email without obligations of residency there.
The GamerzX Channel - I have no experience with overseas visitors seeking Miners Rights however, scroll down this helpful link for info - www.gold-prospecting-wa.com/metal-detecting-permit.html These people run courses in WA and have overseas participants.
Just on the topic of overseas visitors, you would be aware of COVID-19 travel restrictions. In Australia, there are some current travel restrictions between states and this should be factored into any plans you may have. Australia is a vast continent and to land here and just travel to find gold is optimistic not to mention the distance you will need to cover in a well maintained vehicle. If it were me, I would pay to attend a course to get the information and training to get best results. Plus some course providers will help you do a Sect 40 e and allow you to detect on their lease for a limited time after. Then, make your next visit the one you do yourself. 😀⛏⛏
Very helpful and informative, thank you 👍
Neil Taylor-Smith, thanks Neil. 👍

Carl, maybe when COVID-19 is done! I know a man from Germany who does exactly that. 😀⛏⛏
