I've become a huge LT Wright fan. I love his work, and I think the value is outstanding. And the more I learn about this company and its founder, the more of a fan I become. I have several of his knives now, and they are exceptional blades. I love what he said about giving people the knife of their dreams, kinda thing. The Northern Hunter is just that to me. When I take that out to the bush, I just feel like I could do anything with it. Great video. Thanks!
Thanks for this video. I just got a pronghorn. The second I picked it up I knew I was going to buy it. I set it down looked around the knife shop, went back to it. It's on my belt, and will remain there. Excellent work folks.
This video single-handedly made my decision to pull the trigger on a LT Wright. I’ve been looking and browsing and debating for a year or so now. Wow. Inspirational. Keep these comping guys.
Great video guys! We try hard everyday to make the best product we can and provide the best customer service. I've been blessed to have been working with LT since 2009. I've met the greatest people in the knife industry and continue to enjoy coming to work everyday. Thanks to those who support us by buying a knife, taking a knife class, or joining the Pout House forum.
I have seven knives from you guys and If I had the money, I would own even more. The fit and finish is perfect, and the warranty/customer service is unsurpassed. The attention to detail reveals how much you guys take pride in what you do and that you care about the finished product. I won’t mention names, but I’ve bought knives in the same price range from one of your competitors, and the difference is night and day in regard to the fit and finish of the knife. With your knives, although they are expensive (to me) , I feel that I get what I pay for. Besides, the warranty pretty much guarantees the knife for life, unless I lose it. I’m looking forward to this year’s offerings.
What an awesome life experience for you Mr Wright!!!! It’s so great to see a good man doing something with his life and making it work!!!! Keep up the great work on all of your awesome blades!!!!!!!
What a fantastic interview. I had an opportunity to talk to a blacksmith/knifemaker (Night Owl Iron Works) and the similarities are pretty striking in how many of these guys just want to share their passion for the things they make with anyone who will appreciate it. Looking forward to more of these REC Files, for sure! If you get down here to Orlando to talk to the folks at Randall, I'll buy ya a beer!
That’s so cool and the funny thing is That’s exactly how I started, a 3x21 Craftsman sander flipped upside down and some hand tools, The difference is I am completely self taught.
The problem with LT Wright knives are the Bonded leather sheaths which can never be wet-formed to fit the shape of the knife. Bark River knives only use full grain leather which can always be wet-formed to fit the shape of their knives... Comments are welcome!
