No foreigners have ever been executed in Thailand for drug offences, and the only Thai people who have been executed are those caught snuggling large quantities of heavier drugs such as m*th or c*ke (just trying to avoid the YT censors) and that was many years ago. You can check, there's only been 3 executions since 2003 and none of those were for drug related offences.

The only place in Asia? Indonesia is incredible, they have beautiful Islands, Orangutans, ancient jungles. Then there's Singapore which I guarantee is safer and more prosperous than any city you've ever been to. Or the mountains of Northern Vietnam where you'll find the best coffee and renting a house for a month is $150. Thailand is incredible and I live here half the year but South East Asia is an incredible region and there are a lot of great things to check out, not just the dispensaries and party roads in the major Thai cities.
