    Isaac Stern once said something like "you learn a piece until you can forget it and take it in and internalize it" .. Isaac Pealman makes fiddle players sing for the first day of his fiddle camp so they can learn to breath into a melody . SO many ways to come upon ownership of a piece .. I am still in my first 5 years with your gift of "folding down the Sheets."..

    Love the interviews with Dan! I’ve taken a few online lessons with him and the body of knowledge and the clarity of purpose he has are a treat.

    One of my listening practices is to hear it enough that I can feel why what the player's doing makes sense.....
