Display is powered by a pancake battery. It's behind a cover were the wiring is at the bottom of the box. It could have a plastic cover on it to keep from discharging. Hopefully it isn't dead but it's a common battery most stores should have.
I've had no complaints. 8+ months trouble free so far. It's about to get below freezing in a few weeks. I'm interested to see if the cold causes any problems.
Thank you for the video. Would you mind looking at your manual and providing me with the company contact information please. We've misplaced our manual and ours is now glitching. Thank you for your help, if possible.
Well, when I pushed the reset button the screen went blank. So I'm charging it again just to be on the safe side. Maybe the cold zapped the battery even though I charged the battery last week. I don't understand what's going on, does anyone know why the screen was fine until I reset it? And still nothing, just a blank screen.
They might if they were hungry and bored but so far has not been a problem. I've scheduled the door to be open 7am-8pm everyday and its been flawless for 3 weeks so far. There are 24 birds total and they put themselves up every night. This has been my favorite upgrade so far. I go to bed around 6-7pm. Working on automatic feed and water system next. 😎
I got the version that does not have the timer like this one does, everything is in the app. It's garbage. The door might be OK, but the app makes it useless. Buyer beware. This is the typical cheap Chinese junk that we see all too often these days.
Thank you for making this video! I feel much more confident installing now 😅
This is a fabulous video ! Thank you !
Our display is blank but indicator light is red. Any suggestions? New out of the box.

Thank you! I'm ready to install
Thanks for watching! The timer setup video is out now too.
Thank you so much for posting this. I feel better about getting the job done! Mine just came and so far in the box it looks like great quality.

Any concern with the ladies eating the wires?

That's unfortunate. I considered that model but have no internet signal near the coop. So far the timer model has been trouble free for about 7 months
