LOVEBITES - The Hammer Of Wrath lyrics:
What's the worst way to die?
Burning to death, or drowning?
Everyone laughs in derision
There's no hope at all
Why is the world rotting away
Howling in pain, they slowly die
All of the sorrow is murderous
The insanity
(Burn up)
They're calling me
(Burn up)
It's do or die
(Burn up)
Get ready for hell
(Bring down justice to the wicked)
Don't look away from the mistakes
Open your eyes, and see the truth
When lightning cracks the blackened sky
Listen to the screams of distress
It's like a bad dream but it's not
No way to get out, a living nightmare
Bring down the Hammer of Wrath
Who will be the next to burn?
God only knows the victim
Everyone knows they are innocent
All the hope is gone
In despair they pass away
There was no hope to begin with
Even the angels are giving up
Looking down on us
Will this night ever break dawn
(Bring down justice to the wicked)
SOLO: midori / mi-ya [miyako]

Love Lovebites 🐺🤘🏴
Great reaction, I always get blown away by this song, one of my very favorites from Lovebites. 🤘💥🔥
Thanks for the comment 👍
The Hammer of Wrath" is one of LOVEBITES' earliest works and is the second track on their first full-length album, AWAKENING FROM ABYSS. This song, along with the first instrumental "The Awakening," is familiar to fans because it was frequently used as the opening and encore song at their live shows.
In fact, of their approximately 60 original songs, few of them have solo parts for bass or drums, and this song is one of the few that does.
This song was chosen as the opening song for their revival concert, partly because it was the first performance of FAMI (bass).
If you want, check out “Set the World on Fire “, live, 2021 or “Shadowmaker “, from same concert!!!!! I’m sure you’ll truly appreciate their talent!!!!!🤘🐺🤘🔥!!!!!
Hey thanks for the recommendation
🐺LOVEBITES RULES🐺
💯👍👍👍
Midori was trained on the organ as a child and Miyako was trained on the piano. Midori went to a prestigious music school for guitar at 20 and Miyako self taught at 18. They are all gifted and well trained and Miyako on top of that is a musical savant so she blends a lot of classical sounds with the many influences each band member brings to the group. She composes, arranges and writes a lot of their songs with input from her band-mates and Asami writes most of the lyrics to those compositions.Even Asami/vocal was a trained ballet student for over a decade, thus the graceful and elegant movement on stage despite being a Napoleon stage general. BTW no one plays Thrash better LIVE than these musicians. Here it was their 1st show after a long hiatus to find Fami the new bassist. Fami's 1st show with the band and the band's 1st show in quite a while. This is "RUSTY" Lovebites, wait till the world tour this year and imagine what they will be like!!!!!!!
Hey Susan.they sure are talented.i look forward to hearing more from them.
Awesome!! I know nothing about music theory so i always labeled that intro as sounding middle eastern vibe. Cheers for explaining the musicality behind the music! 🤘 This band is amazing!!
Hey cheers for the compliment! Yep they’re special alright.
Merci pour la revue 👍🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺
Thank you for your support of the band! Lovebites!🤘🏼❤
Hey thanks for the comments
Midori 💚💚💚💚💚
Miyako (Dark hair/girl on the right) plays so effortlessly it's mesmerizing at times (OK, all the time).. All of them are fantastic musicians.
Thanks for the comment Kevin.
Great reaction ! Check out "Judgement Day" LIVE from the same concert on their official YT Channel.
Thanks for recommendation’s.i certainly will. I really enjoy there live stuff.it shows their level of control and musicianship.
Miyako is classically trained on piano, but not on guitar, though she does have some formal training and still receives tutelage from Midori, the blonde guitarist. Miyako's early guitar influences were blues rockers like Ritchie Blackmore and Gary Moore, and experimental masters like Eddie Van Halen and Kirk Hammett. Midori, on the other hand, studied guitar at the Music Institute of Japan (their equivalent of Juliard or Berkeley), and trained for several years in classical guitar and classical theory before switching to metal.
Hey Gary thanks for the information.i can hear those influences in there playing too.very talented musicians.

Hey, a Kiwi! Greetings from the Aussie Wolfpack across the Ditch. Keep spreading the word about these ladies mate, we need some Australasian tour dates.
Band-Maid as well if you havent checked them out.
ps nice guitar!
Cheers.
Hey cheers mate and thanks for the recommendation, band maid!
Start with Don't You Tell Me (live 2023) from Band-Maid's official channel, then Hate? (same concert) for some epic instrumental battles. They sing in Japanese with some English mixed in. The tracks suggested have subtitles. Enjoy!
This is the opening of their 'come back' concert after they went on hiatus due to the Covid thing and the original Bass player, Miho, leaving the band for personal reasons. It is the first time on stage with the band for new bassist Fami, who is only 21, but already has a huge reputation. As another commenter has said else where, Fami is not trying to fill Miho's shoes, she has brought her own. Miho, who was the co founder of the band along with drummer Haruna, will be missed, but I think we can all respect her decision and wish her well for the future.
Thanks for the comments . I did not know that.
The girls are all 6'8".
Holly crap! I didn’t know that.
Hahahahaha!!
😂😂😂
@@cs780 - actually. They are super small. The two tall ones (Fami and Miyako) are 5'2. The rest are under 5', with Haruna smallest at 4'9. I think Asami is 4'10 and Midori 4'11.
i have been a weather enthusiast for my entire life and i still don't get it. why is the southern hemisphere going into winter shortly while we in the states will have summer coming soon ? i always thought that because of the earth's elliptical orbit that winter came when the earth was at it's farthest point from the sun. so you would think the entire planet would be colder in that case . can't figure it out. oh well i have a LOVEBITES reaction to watch here so who gives a f ? ! love your guitar tone btw - is that a PRS ?
I know right, go figure the stupid seasons.its an Ibanez rg550. It’s a re realease of a model they made in the late 80s early nineties.cheers for the comments
ibanez eh ? weapon of choice for satriani- my favorite male guitarist of all time. with midori and miyako of course being my favorite ladies !@@cs780
