I am also in a reading slump, but yestersay I watched the video where you recommended Verity and The Housemaid, and today I bought both of them. I have started Verity (I have read 2 chapters so far) and I'm hooked! :-) I had never read anything by her, and I love her writing style. I'm very intrigued. Thank you so much for your recommendations. I don't know if you have read The Southern Bookclub's Guide to Slaying Vampires by Grady Hendrix, but I think this is also a good book to get out of a reading slump. I love the way he balances humor, creepiness and touching moments.

I’m in the BIGGEST reading slump I’ve ever been in my life. Apparently, there’s a lot of people that are feeling this way right now. I’m glad I don’t feel totally alone in this, but like…how can we fix this now? 😭 I feel like I pick up a book I think I’ll love AND I JUST CANT GET INTO THEM.

I read "Funny Story" the day it came out and listened to it right after. I ended up rereading your first two books "When Fate Breaks" and "Something Rad" immediately afterwards to get me back in a better mood since I was sad I finished reading "Funny Story" and was looking forward to it for so many months. "Funny Story" was very cute but it wasn't my favorite of her books though. Loved rereading your first two books!
Also, Julia Whelan is the GOAT! I cannot wait for my AMA video chat with her next week. She is my all time favorite narrator. Jesse Vilensky is also amazing (she narrated all of Lynn Painter's YA books). You would love her narration if you love Julia Whelan. Happy reading!!!

Same i just read five books. Compared to last year nothing for me. I cant find good books anymore. Not even Penelope douglas type of stuff makes me excited about reafing anymore. Its just like there are so many boring books. Maybe i have the unrealistic hope that the book i read will change my life haha. I have barely five stars anymore.
I can not wait for your Taming 7 review. I waited for that release like a kid waits for Santa christmas morning and I finished it going, "wait...what?..what the HECK was THAT". I'm not excited for Claiming 10 & I'm still sad about all that book could have been and what we were given.
