I walked around a corner in a hospital I was working in to discover 2 (not one!) Norman Rockwell pencil works mounted by the elevator. There was nothing special protecting them, not even a camera. I went and discussed them with an administration person to see if they knew what they had unprotected in the unmonitored hallway. Last I saw them a protective cover was bolted over them but they were still next to the elevator.
Wow, what an incredible discovery! Finding two Norman Rockwell pencil works casually displayed in a hospital is quite remarkable. It's great that you took the initiative to inform the administration about the importance and value of those pieces. Rockwell's works are treasured and can be quite valuable, so ensuring they are protected is essential. Have you come across any other unexpected treasures in your work or daily life?

Once again the lead item is missing!! You really need to change how you do things! Very disappointing!
