Why is Sisu in Germany so unknown? The trucks are awesome! 🇫🇮🥊
because they are extremly overpriced, you can get better Price/quality and total cost of ownership from other producers, exemple Ginaf , there 5 axles truck has a gvw of 114 tons and payload of 95 tons with better hydraulic controlled suspension as well hydraulic drive front axle.

Wow a Finnish Scammell, Sisu has an enviable reputation for building bomb proof wagons. Not keen on the lift up third drive axle, is the wagon available with a more conventional 6x6 tri-drive rear bogie option. Make a fantastic breakdown wagon with a slewing crane.

I watched a lot of overloaded regular chinese 8x4 dump trucks that have grossweight up to 130 tons. Here on Sisu I see such a massive frame and rigid other components while the grossweight reaches just 70 tons. I wonder how many payload could that Sisu carry with that ridiculous chinese platforms.

I miss when they used to use the more reliable Cat and Cummins motors. Euro 6 is so awful for haulage.

Correct me if I have it wrong, but isn't the FH750's top power and torque ratings somehow limited e.g. during take-offs, and available only at certain speed onwards? According to info at Sisu Auto's page the power and torque of the SISU Hybrid driveline of the SISU Polar Timber truck shown at PowerTruck2018 show is not limited, and the max torque of 3600Nm is available from 1000 to 1800 rpm.
Could be academic, yes. But also might be that few hundred Nm's in certain situations, especially when starting-off whilst with heavy load, can make a real difference. Just noted, since the comparison of max handling capacity (of SISU) as claimed in your comment, i.e. 3050Nm vs. max top torque of FH, i.e. 3550, as per my understanding, is quite erroneous. FH has the top torque available on top gears only, and SISU Hybrid has that 3600Nm whist starting-off?

The cabin comes from Mercedes, so of course it looks like Mercedes, it's the same cabin as in Actros . . . The looks can be deceiving, they make very good trucks, nearly 100 year old company.

@@lifeofeetu4718 Definitely not, nobody outside of Finland knows what Sisu is. Scania on the other hand is one of the most internationally recognized truck brands. Besides, Sisu is just rebuilded Renaults and Mercedes.
