You make some great points! The magnets are very cool. Thanks for pointing out that while you can get A LOT in there, it can get chubby if you really pack it out. That's where the magnets really help.
Everything by EverGoods is top notch. I have the CAP2L, which I bought for 65$, before prices went up. Ny favorite pouch of all time. I would like to have the CAP1L too, but for 75$? Come on...
I would totally use the CAP1 as a sling (with those 2 small loops on either side of the carry webbing), for travel essentials while going through the airport - passport, boarding pass, currency notes and coins, ID cards, credit cards, small power bank, cables, wired/wireless earphones and a pen. The advantage being that both sides have zippered closure, so nothing will fall out if the magnets do give way occasionally.
It may be the best pouch in the game but not the best price just the same. Using one currently which holds passport, loyalty & credit cards, also has a clear window so you can put a drivers license/photo identification. The other side has a clip-on pouch where usb & charging cables, SAK card multitool & battery power bank can be stored. The whole unit is firm & durable & water repellant. Cost:$20.
Interesting, I never really looked at this 1L before. In my brain, when I thought slim pouch, I thought Dayfarer's tech pouch or one of the Waterfield tech bags. I guess the Aer one is really flat too, and the alpaka mini, those are a little small though. I probably lean Dayfarer, but was put off by $20 shipping for a $30 bag, but $50 is still half the price of one of these in xpac.
Evergoods have been on my radar for this past month and I already have CAS2 and CPL24. CAP1 looks amazing but I don't think I have a use for it. Everything I needed for EDC is in the CAS2 and bigger items are in the CPL24. It feels stupid to transfer my items from CAS2 to CAP1 lmao. I will probably lose it somewhere because the it's a hand carry pouch rather than a harness. It could probably be a tech organizer inside my backpack for travel but too expensive for that IMO.
@@Nomads.Nation indeed, it swallows bulkier items. Great tech pouch for tech freak and I it’s not as bulky as peak design tech pouch. Cap2 and Aer slim pouch are my no.1 when it comes to tech pouches
I was very interested in the cap1 (i have the cap2) but i buy last year the modern dayfarer pouch and i think that fits all of my tech stuff in less price 🤣 i use the cap 2 when i need more space . I think that the cap 1 its a little bit overpriced but its my opinion
Everyone in the various carry communities has a hard-on for Evergoods, but I find their designs prescriptive and inflexible. You have to adapt to the bag, not the other way around. And as a final note, I find their customer service to be severely lacking. I reached out about a minor (so I thought) problem and they were just kind of generally douchy to me.
They sell pouches like this at Staples for less than $20 and they are excellent too. 😂 An entire damn nice backpack is like $200 how the hell is this little ass pouch $75?
@@Nomads.Nation It’s a pouch, you throw it in a bag, it doesn’t need to be made out of Kevlar 😂 Now my Peak Design tech pouch, that is worth the money and even then the material is overkill somewhat but the money is there. I have multiple pouches like the one in the video from Staples that are actually probably nicer and have more compartments and look better too. Tri fold with a clasp and pretty sure they are ripstop too.
Hey @Nomads.Nation and the community! I've been having a hard time to decide on a tech pouch and would love some input! Purpose is: carry my edc charging kit and extras. one usb c cable, a charger head, slim portable power bank (anker powercore 313) and it's own cable and my ID card Been going back and forth between the cap 1L and the aer slim pouch. Idrc about water resistance (gonna be in my bag anyway) I really like the cap design, but the aer slim seem to have better organisation and quicker access to it's cargo to me. Any input appreciated, especially from someone who used both. Thanks!!

Worth every penny. I have two. One for tech travel and one for my car as a first aid kit.
Appreciate the perspective!

Seems the people have spoken - it’s a bit overpriced

nice!
CAP1 and CAP2, as well as the AER pouches are some of if not the best tech pouches out imo
Haven’t tested a CAP yet - hoping to soon

share the link mate
Yea mate, share the love!
@@Nomads.Nation It's a generic made by locals. Will inquire next time at the area.

Peak Design tech pouch is a phenomenal option. I love mine.
hell yea, love that product
A very very nice design marred by an absolutely ridiculous price
Agreed.
Yea it’s not cheap lol
The mesh being non-elastic helps the contents bulge outwards rather than everything just mashing together in the middle.
Makes sense!
What kindle version did you use in the video? thanks
not sure tbh, just a regular one?

Yea $30 for the Dayfarer is a steal (even $50 with the shipping is good)

Thanks for your feedback! I love both of them, but agree having two is overkill for most ppl
This or the aer slim pouch?
both are amazing, flip a coin lol
I’d take the cap2 over the peak design
I really want to test it out, heard great things

Everything Evergoods makes is extremely well made and designed.
Agreed on that
Nice pouch but too expensive for what it is.
Yea it’s a chunk of change for what it is
I hit your link. Discount code?
not for Evergoods sorry, but that link makes sure you get the best price and also helps to support our channel!
pricing is wild, basically half the price of a backpack
It’s one of those things that when you try it you’ll totally get why it’s priced the way it is

The whole brand does have a reputation for being a bit on the… pretentious side

I'm not sure if they would be made with the exact same quality and materials or warrantee... but I'm also totally in agreement that it's a splurge buy

Bulkier things are better for the Slim imo, otherwise the CAP will work great
