stamkos is just a guy you gotta admire, he's got that dope spin move, he puts up points, had most goals last year i believe, and he spends his money well. i like the style of his house and damn that car is def nice. wish he played for detroit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i cant believe that he grew up in Markham where im living. its so cool having a hockey player from my place.
Everyone saying how me makes big bucks and has this average house. This was only his 2nd year in the NHL on his entry level deal @ $900.000 per.
He has a nice home that isn't ostentatious.

one of the first nhl superstars i've seen that didn't waste most of his salary on a house he's never in!!!!! way to go stamkos :)!!!!

having 3 stories isnt that great and i live in the same complex as him its like 1,500 square feet house. cost like 300k
4 ECFinals in the last 6 years. I think Tampa's playing well into late May most of the time. And we have a Stanley cup.

Seen this kid play since he was 10,at that time he was wearing number 99.I wonder who told him to stop wearing the number.He was great player then and still is now .Congrats stammer you deserve it ..
The thing you've got to respect about hockey players is how grounded they are. They don't have the enormous egos that you see in football or basketball players (Lebron...). They are genuine people who don't feel the need to overspend on luxuries and showcase their "swag", at least to the extent that athletes in other sports do.

That was my first thought, too. Had to double take when he said that.
This was when he was on his rookie contract, so he didn't really have alot to spend on like a huge ass mansion with 5 different sports cars, now I think he's making roughly 8 million
Stamkos current contract is under 1 mil but with bonus's its prob at about a million, this season he will resign for about 7 million 6-7 years, he also has moved from this town home this past summer I heard lives in a different area or house now

@petrucciphan Many players have families (wives & children) that spend plenty of time in the house while the player is on the road.

I went to school with this kid and been to his parents house before. Still can't believe how good he is
this is just one of his many properties.....he's worth millions, trust me this guy has more he's not showing!

What we have learned. Men regardless of income level all live the same!
He needs golf t shirts cause his team can't get it done in the playoffs. But otherwise that's a sick house to live in
vinniesonbon Lightning can get it done if they are healthy. They don't choke regularly like the Capitals and Bruce Budroeu coached teams (if I even spelled that right)

@10forRP It is really nice but not over-the-top. He doesn't have 3 cars,either. Most athletes have at least 3 really expensive ones.

And this is just after he signed that big contract and before his 60 goal year. I was sad when he mentioned downy cause that guy was awesome but they traded him
@CoandCaSSTB I'm honestly surprised that he drinks soda. There's nothing wrong with it but it doesn't seem like a pro athlete's type of drink.
