Give Ableton or logic a try it will suit your workflow better u don't even have to touch your mouse, u record a lot of audio that could get very clunk/messy in FL and slow u down but its good for flipping samples tho. DAW doesn't matter but give it a try

When producing, start off with 1st, laying down a SOLID melody that can stand on its own. Something that sets up the vibe for rest of the song. Next consume a LITTLE tiny bit of WEEEED 🙃 enough to feel it but not enough to tweak you out or overthink(take it slow) Then, the music will Click and you'll be able to come up with your best stuff. Build up the song idea with idea, you will feel them coming to you just reach for the best one. THE MUSIC WILL MAKE ITSELF! It's magical, spiritual stuff that clicks when creating vibes. Beforehand listen to your favorite artists music as somewhat of a reference point. This will take you to new levels, I swear (Weed is natural and made from mother earth as a creative tool that alters the subconscious mind (ur creative muscle). It connects you to your body and setting in beutiful ways, beware of tolerance and tone it down if it gets too high. (Sativa's work best for me). God gave us EARTH and all her wonderful herbs✝️, these are tools given to us to reach our highest selves. With knowledge, spirituality, discipline, and weed you will ascend to your highest self and tap into different perspectives to create your best stuff. 👊🐍TRUST. Be picky with sounds as taste is everything. Left or right,2 or 4, red or blue, these things add up and matter

I split my mind in two, the sober side(a) to Learn and take in information, then the elevated side(b) to play with the information already in my head. U wont be dependent on it b/c you already learned how to produce and already have habbits/taste. brains in general work with The councious side (a) 10% of your working brain and the subconscious side (b) 90% of your working brain. Weed makes it more intuitive and connects you to ur body and earth Both are powerful and work together. I'm a weed advocate and been one since my Brazilian Jiu jitsu days (18yrs old on and off) if u can't tell 🤓🌬💨🕊✨️ nobody has ever came close to dieing from weed,not even close. it's been around for thousands of years and has medicinal affects. (some even say it can even prevent cancer, not kidding) it's like a hammer, u can build a house with it or hurt yourslef with it. It depends on the user and intent. But everyone is different i guess🤷♂️ All I'm saying is dont knock it till you try it. it'll give you perspective, and life is all about perspective. I repeat life is perspective 👀
