My dad bought me a used bike back in 1975,I was 9 years old.back then most family's did not buy new bikes,very expensive.my dad bought me a used bike right next store to coney island amusement park.brings back some really good memories.no internet,just your local newspaper,boy that was great😊
I'm born n raised in Brooklyn. Always went to coney Island, in fact been all over Brooklyn. I remember when I was dating my ex husband he was threatened by a Russian guy with a gun because he wanted a parking spot my ex was taking. We were going into the park So my ex was glad to move. It changed alot there. I would never go back to Brooklyn to live. Been out since 1987
No wonder there are so many auto body shops there. Also, so many cars double parked. Are you supposed to wait for them to show up if you cannot get out of your parking space? That's crazy.

Yes, there is. The area is called Brighton Beach or by its nickname Little Odessa. It’s right next door to Coney Island. Coney Island actually has a sizable Eastern European population as well. I did the 2010 census and many live in the projects as well. (Little known secret) Many also live in Seagate. The gated community at the tail end of Coney Island. Many working class people live in Seagate. Don’t let the name fool you.
