Fun Fact: This model was featured in the German 1957 Junghans catalogue as the "17/5931 EXACTA". The Exacta is referring to the special kind of balance wheel Junghans started using in the mid 50's!
This is a clock that I wish I had. I'm sort of an addict to these mid-century Junghans clocks, and this is both a pretty looking one, and one of the best-sounding ones I've ever seen :>
@linsclockandmusicchannel Thank you!!! :D Btw, can you do a video of your 5-rod next? I really love that thing and idk, I really wanna hear it strike 12 :)
Lovely W200, some of the prettiest sounding Westminster mantel clocks around. Very good movements they were, and amazing sounding chime rods, this is no exception.
@linsclockandmusicchannel Junghans clocks of this era had some of the best sound quality, I might be getting a Junghans for Christmas with this exact same movement and rods, sounds identical.
I have 1956 Smiths and it’s on balance wheel but the case size is very compact. Your chimes are very resonant! Those slim case allowing longer bronze rods to fit in for more deeper chimes.
Thanks! This one sorta found me, some random person who I bought a clock online from messaged me saying they had 2 more clocks. I ended up going back to their house and picked up this thing and two other mantel clocks for very cheap!

The shine on the wood! Absolutely stunning.
Thanks so much! I really love this thing

Very nice! Yeah, they are indeed pretty resonant, which I'm very happy about
