You have to mute the button also in rewasd so that it is not double binded. What is happening is GTA is picking up a couple of the controller commands natively. So you have to click on the button in rewasd, and make sure "Mute" is activated on the button.
no... bc your mapping WASD to another input... unless you have a Wooting keyboard or one with similar features your not going to get analog movement from WASD
Hey @CobiLuck, great video! I was wondering if this is possible. I plan on buying the bundle but want to make sure of this before doing so. On FiveM, I'm trying to link up key binds for the controller when driving my patrol vehicle. So like I have my left thumb stick set to the "WASD" keys when walking, just moving / looking around in general. But.., when I get in the vehicle, the keys are also applied to the thumb stick. So like when I'm driving, my "WASD" keys are still there which means I'm using my left thumb stick to drive around lol. So is there a way to have like a "only when" I'm outside to keep the WASD keys toggled and then when I'm in the vehicle their disabled or just not in the way you know. Just to have different sets if that makes sense.
Yes. You can set a hotkey for when you get into and out of a vehicle your entire control scheme can change. I believe its called hypershift or something... I can look in a few hours when I get on the PC
@@play_stationjr8636 If you notice the 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 above your config... you are more than likely on the 0 config... Switch to the 1, and you can set up that config as well as a button to hotswap between the two on the fly.

Nah, u can set 2 diff mappings... Place a hot key on one button such as the dpad somewhere that you press as soon as you get in a car, which then switches the config to one you create for just driving.
Lol ok so when i first responded i thought i was responding to another video... So if you seen that, disregard the mouse recommendation lol. I would probably put push to talk somewhere simple like Y or B but put it on hold, or maybe even double tap toggle... then double tap off...

Works fine with steam... You just turn off controller support in steam so it does not recognize the controller, and then you map it as you wish using REWASD
I have friends who play Apex with controller, and they bind certain heals to the dpad so that they can pop a battery or a cell instantly without having to use the health wheel... Apex still recognizes the controller and has the native controls but they have just added the ability to say HOLD dpad left or right and instantly pop the heal.
Driving on what? Lets just use PUBG for example... Accelerate and Reverse is on the left and right mouse buttons, brake is the L2 on the nav, then i seat swap with the 2 thumb buttons, with seat one being the same and accelerate so that it puts me in the driver seat when i press the gas... Hope this helps.

If you looking to play on a particular 5M sever, for GTA, just find out on the server what the keys are, and then map them to the controller via this software.

Yeah, every server has separate bindings, so you have to customize your binds on a server by server basis

So you can set one up for on foot, and in your patrol car.

Yes... It does something with being able to read diff game controllers.

No, but it's pretty smooth... Native controls don't work on most fivem servers anyway, so it's either keyboard and mouse, or this method.
