Testing out the top speed and performance of the ADO D30C after installing the throttle and unlocking the speed limit.
The D30C is a high end new eBike from ADO company that comes with premium looks from its manufacturing design being made as single piece with no visible welds, with just a few exceptions. It has a 1x9 drive train, fast paddle shifter, full hydraulic brakes, in-frame quick removable integrated battery with key lock and a full safety pack with lights and reflectors. The motor is a "250W" planetary geared motor with one way clutch thus develops an average of 4 times more torque than a regular 250W hub motor, while the clutch disconnects it when not used so it doesn't put up any drag.

Great video, I do that too. I brought back a thumb throttle with a yellow 3-pin connector from my trip to Vienna. That should fit. Thanks You for the videos I wouldn't have known how to activate that. On my ADO D30C, the battery gauge fluctuates more since I'm heavier. It can go down to 50% when accelerating and then back up to 100%. Greetings from Germany.
That is great, I will also search for a thumb throttle, it could be a bit more comfortable, especially when you use only the assisted mod. As for the voltage drop I'm thinking of a small booster pack and a twin battery mod, this way the current flow will split, voltage drop will be significantly smaller and acceleration & top speed will be better.

Cool bike. I still have my fiido d11 which I enjoy but wish it was a bit faster like this one.
This bike was a surprise for me as it's the fastest one I have owned, seen or tested running on just 36V. Most ebikes to reach 40km/h need at least a 48V battery, this says a lot about how efficient the D30C is.

I only have a 21 speed bicycle. I have reached 35kph going downhill. I could have probably peddled it even faster, but I got scared at that speed, thinking I might lose control. I ride my bike 3-4 times a week during the Summer months, when I don't have to worry about COLD & SNOW. (it's -6C outside here right now). My main reason for riding is to take in scenery & for exercise. The roads I travel are mostly flat ... so, I don't need any kind of power assist. Have fun with your new toy.
I don't ride so often, but when I do I either like to choose a heavy offroad track or just to cover distance fast, thus need a fast eBike. The new one is very interesting as it does a lot of speed on just 36V, in this speed range all other bikes I ever had needed at least a 48V battery.
Is it possible to peddle at 40 kmh with the 9 speed shimano gears? What do you think the range would be using pure throttle at 40kmh?
Yes, you can do 40km/h and still have a comfortable pedaling rate as the bike comes tall geared. You might actually find it a bit hard going on very steep inclines, I think that the 11 gear version has extra much lower gears (bigger sprockets in the back) and makes it better for uphill. But don't get me wrong using it as a road bike with inclines of 10-12% is still fine.
@@TechTronic9000 Thanks for making these videos! I am thinking about getting one of these ebikes. We have lots of hills round here, do you think the assist would make a big difference uphill even with inclines above 15 %? I am not sure if you meant that it would be difficult to do 40 kmh on a steep incline? I don't mind not being able to do 40 kmh, I would be quite happy doing half the speed or less as long as the motor provides good assistance!

Can you unlock the max speed without the throttle? I would like to derestrict it and use it with pedal assist..

I have a gotrax with the same S380 display, but the speed setting is locked, how did you unlock it ?

This or the A26+? How long can you go on battery at high speed?
I prefer the the DECE 300. Only on battery and at maximum speed you will drain the battery very fast.
is there a way to unlock the speed without the throttle?, if yes then how can i do that?
It's not possible with the stock controller. Only if you mod it with another controller, but it gets complicated and the space for the controller on the DECE 300 is very limited.
