- If you’re the stirred and boozy type, you need to try this exceptional Manhattan variation! The Fall Back cocktail was created by the legend- Sasha Petraske. It is a super cool little cocktail that I highly recommend !
Fall Back
2 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
1/2 oz (15ml) Amaro Nonino
1/2 oz (15ml) Sweet Vermouth
1 oz (30ml) Apple Brandy
1 oz (30ml) Rye Whiskey
Stir, serve up and garnish with a lemon twist!

Hello! I wonder if you have tried it on the rocks as that is the way I have seen it sometimes prepared elsewhere. I imagine it's a great drink either way; just curious because there's quite a difference in how a drink is perceived up or on the rocks. (I also asked the same question on Spirit of the Cocktail.) There does not seem to be an Apple Brandy on SB, can you use Calvados instead?
