- Hello guys,we have recently been in Jesolo,so we are sharing our adventure with you all,this is a really beautiful place to visit in Venice,especially during summer !!!!

Jesolo is a seaside resort town and comune in the Metropolitan City of Venice, Italy of 26,447 inhabitants. With around six million visitors per year, Jesolo is one of the largest beach resorts in the country, and ranks 7th overall as a tourist destination, and fourth (behind Rimini, Cavallino-Treporti, San Michele al Tagliamento/Bibione) most popular Italian seaside resort. With 204,711.4 visits per thousand inhabitants, it is also one of the 50 Italian towns with the greatest tourist pressure. Its 15 kilometre long beaches and proximity to central Europe make it a favourite destination of many Russian, German, Austrian, Dutch and French visitors.
The town lies north of Venice, between Eraclea and Cavallino-Treporti.

Jesolo is one of the most fashionable seaside resorts situated on northern Italy’s Adriatic Sea coastline. With beaches, theme parks, watersports and wildlife centers, it attracts a mix of families and young European tourists. Jesolo splits into two distinct areas: Jesolo, an urban and residential town and Lido di Jesolo, a beach suburb.The town of Jesolo straddles the banks of the River Sile, which curves around the northern edge of the Venetian Lagoon. It’s a quiet area home to atmospheric squares such as Piazzetta Jesolo. Visit the elegant Parrocchia San Giovanni Battista, which overlooks the tree-lined Piazza Giacomo Matteotti. Follow trails that skirt the riverbank and pass rolling green countryside. One route leads to the ruins of a medieval tower, Torre del Caligo.High on the agenda for many visitors is the beach, which stretches for around 9 miles (15 kilometers) along the Adriatic Sea. The soft sand and inviting water are an essential part of summers on the Venetian Riviera. Choose between the private clubs with bars and rows of sunbeds or the public access areas. Try kitesurfing, parasailing and windsurfing or join a pirate ship cruise.Running parallel to the beach is Via Bafile, the heart of Lido di Jesolo’s commercial and entertainment district. Browse galleries, handicraft stores, high-end fashion outlets and jewelers, among other retail options. Eat at ice cream parlors, pizzerias and trattorias. Sample the after-dark activities at pubs, open-air nightclubs and wine bars.Enjoy some family-friendly fun on the waterslides at the Caribbean-themed Aqualandia. Get up-close to exotic marine life at Sea Life Jesolo and Tropicarium Park. Ride classic fairground attractions at New Jesolandia and race around a go-kart track at Kartodromo Pista Azzurra. Bring your golf clubs for a round of 18-holes at Golf Club Jesolo or challenge the obstacles at Adventure Golf.Reach Jesolo by taking a bus from Venice and then get around by foot, rented bike and a summer sightseeing bus. Stay at accommodations that are just steps from the glorious beach.
The historic centre of Jesolo offers tourists the possibility to immerse themselves in the folklore and colours of the weekly market, to visit the archaeological ruins and to walk along the river Sile, immersed in the nature. With restaurants and shops, has become Jesolo Paese a compulsory destination for the tourists, an opportunity to enjoy the most traditional and typical aspects of one of the most important seaside resort on the Adriatic coast. Easily reachable by public transport and connected with cycle path, is Jesolo Paese also a departure point for many trips to the hinterland between lagoon and nature, immersed in incredible silences and scents.

that such a wonderful place... the snake looks so lovely with it's color but still scary thinking that it's a snake 😀😀.. so pretty butterflies and lovely sea creatures,,,,and such a lovely walk on that amazing sea side and watching those crab cuteness... great adventure M.. nice sharing

İ had visited Lido di Jesolo only 1 week in 1990 by Tourism company at one of the highest staged 3 star hotel overlooking all 15 kms of beachside resorts, avenues. İt was very honorfull to visit very nice Tourism District of extreme rich Venice City precinct nearby Bologna and Milan Po Valley. Lido is similar to San Diego California for myself. İ was at age 17 and Jugoslavia secession wars had just begun at that times and we had to return back to Constantinople Via Budapest, Sofia instead of comfy Jugo autobahns. When Lido di Jesolo had been developed touristic place, there was no 5 star hotels in Antalya, Alanya, Bodrum, Kuşadası at those times so the area was initially getting humongous tourists from the world. İn İstanbul there used to be only 15 5 star hotels while Lido di Jesolo was in initally developed stage as Tourism.
