Me too! Having just watched mustie1 and his Corvair go kart project, then BAM, Mailbag Monday from pileofstuff. I had to check about five times, but hey, I'm retired, so it's not a biggie anyway, but I did have to recalibrate my internal calendar and synchronise with the world again!
Thanks for showing my Panther stepper controller! Please feel free to open it up on camera and pull it apart. I think your viewers might be interested in what can be accomplished using the orginal Arduino Nano and the TMC5160 driver.
I recomend checking your car's fuse panel prior to using the power adapter for what fuse is in it. I have had the inconvenience of needing to use a portable pump to end up blowing the fuse. With the adressable white LED strips, besides chasers, they can act like light dimming due to the less than all Less lit. It took a bit of programming to try each individual and pairs to find sutable dimming pairs and the least brightest. Thank you for sharing as it definitely brought back memories and future project plans.
Good suggestion. I was expecting the lighter would be fused at a relatively high level, given that it is a simple resistive heater that should normally draw a ton of power.
@@fredflintstone1 I'm and early bird Fred, 6:30 weekdays and 7:00 weekends whether the wife has to go to work or not. 🙂 bit late up today as had to go to London to visit the clone of the Globe theatre or Globe the 3rd as they like to call it. 🙂
The package with multiple items will be aliexpress consolodating last mile delivery - they send the items to a re-shipper in the destination country, and send them all in one parcel
Maybe on the white adressable strips each white LED is individualy adressable? R channel controls the first LED package (its 3 chips in series for 12V), B and G channels control the next packages and so on?
A car charger with "Thickened Metal Shrapnel Lock The Smoke Point" conjures up visions of a Mission Impossible gadget. Does this mean it lets the magic smoke out without exploding?
"Technology of USA... hmmm" made me laugh. I'd seen some single colour 2812 LED strips, I didn't see much of a use case for it other than being able to have three different intensities of light in your program. It would be interesting to see it in action with a rainbow effect. That motor controller looks interesting. So does that quick charger for the car. Overal a good haul. Thanks, take care.
10:22 You can get some stuff very cheaply, and not limited to 3 items. As far as shipping times are here, lately all my aliexpress purchases come here in less than two weeks, even cheap stuff.
Umm, its Sunday 1753hrs (0753hrs UTC), and this was posted 2hrs ago. What am I missing. Am I having another "Mandala Effect" moment. ? Oh, and the leds text is upside down. 👍
Hey, the 1st of April is long gone... For a minute I thought I'd missed Sunday, I had to double check what day it was on my phone to be sure. Never do that again, not funny...🤣🤣🤣
Yeah, it's a day early. Happy mothers day, I guess...
Cue the comments section turning into Mailbag Moanday
Scared the crap out of me. Woke up and saw this. Thought for sure I had my days off and was late for work😂
Kinda surprised me too but ... oh the luxuries of being unemployed! 😅☕

Let's call it a "happy accident"...

I thought I had magically crossed the date line. Went to bed on Saturday and woke up on Monday. Thanks for another mailbag.
Thanks for posting!
Was going to say no one loves Mondays, so mailbag Monday on a Sunday is fine with me😢😮😂
I am suprised you're up at this time on a Sunday or you could be really early for a monday 🙂

If nothing else that poor pulley would make a really nice lightsaber prop part.
Close enough, it's almost Monday for the sheep and kiwis in New Zeeland. 😁
pulley, add a hollow tube (brass) to reduce id, mount indicator to point at some value e.g. temperature scale.

Great haul as usual.

That is how it works. Just not sure why that is a useful thing.

Just call it "Sunday Shopping Surprise"
But cool items at all

"'Technology of USA... hmmm' made me laugh." care to elaborate?
@@HazeAnderson I was laughing at the unlikeliness of that being an accurate claim.
@@pileofstuff Thanks Mr. Stuff :)
0:00 It's Sunday over here, for another six hours and 41 minutes.

I have been getting Aliexpress packages in about 2 weeks or less. They're using a courier company to deliver those, not the post office.
10:10 usually that light black writing under the item name is what specific item you ordered, ie, you can check that toothed wheel.

Is there anything in your house that you haven't taken apart?
There's a few things I'm not allowed to mess with. But not many.😁
The cable ties link is dead, i cant find another deal like yours
Just tested the link and it seems ok now.
The deal I got was a random "flash sale" that Aliexpress has now and then.
its sunday to much ale lol
What cars have lighter jacks any more?
The same connection is still there in many cars, but it's labelled "power point" or similar.
errr dude it's Sunday
13:33... A bit pricy at $265 USD according to your link.... IMO
