Your earlier video introduced me to Universal Solder. I bought that lead bender and their "Broken code lock" educational kit. Just finished the kit yesterday, solving the (deliberate) problems and getting it working. Fun/educational. I wish they had more kits like that one.
At this rate you will need a kit channel ... and that may be a good thing. Some kits are so poorly documented it would be worth watching someone approaching the same build ... I guess good titles / search terms will be key. Good luck 😀👍
@@bigron761I really was. They're the closest brewery t my home. Fortunately, I was able to stock up when I heard they were closing. I hope I can help keep the rest of them going!
I never knew about that equalization specs on phono "things", that's actually quite clever, it must cut off a big part of the "hiss" when a record is played i guess. On the other hand i think many youngsters doesn't have a clue at all what a vinil record is and how it sounds... lol (btw im 37)
You know, I'm about One Monday away from taking up drinking.
Cool vid, cheerz.
Nice preamplifier. So it's time to build a full hi-fi system.

9:07 MM = Moving Magnet, as opposed to MC (Moving Coil)
Denotes what part is moving inside the phono cardtridge to produce a voltage.
Of course! Thank you.
Why didn't I remember that?
Also as opposed to the ceramic pickup found in many older and cheaper turntables.
Kits galore! Happy days. 😀👍
Is this channel the result of you drunk shopping from AliExpress and trying to remember what you've ordered weeks later 😆 we've all been there
I can neither confirm or deny that might be a factor...
I like kits as well. relaxing even if they are nothing useful sometimes
"Freedom units", ie, based on the Imperial system where you are subservient to the King's whims, ie, "Unfreedom units" - lol -.
So you got some great items for the channel.
Thank you.
anoter great haul, you must be busting at the seams!
The pile is growing taller and a bit more unstable.
I probably ought to do another shop organization project soon...
Nice haul!
That will keep ya busy for a bit!
I hope so!
That's a good price for a Phono pre-amp.
The infrared audio kit looks interesting.
I've got 2 of those water flowing Larson scanner kins on my bench in front of me
It's a classic circuit - and a lot of fun to play with.

Irish stout. Good choice for the day after St. Paddy's Day.
It's a common choice for me in the weeks (and months) before and after ST Paddy's day.
1/8 of my ancestors would be pleased.
Can't beat a nice pint of Guinness though
@@pileofstuffwas shocked by the sudden announcement of Stone Angel's demise. They made some really nice beer.

the only thing you forgot to mention about the ruler, it looks like a dip ic package
Gridfinity is crazy expensive and time consuming using magnets, use blue tack if you plan on moving things around very often!
At this point, I'm just experimenting with the system to see if it fits my workflow.
Kits kits and more kits (-:
